Bad company 2 has the best one followed by killing floor (i love how the recoil from the one in killing floor actually moves you back in game lol) as far as the semi auto variant i give that award to Hardline.

I think BFBC2 had the best gun sounds of all time but anyone that has ever played dayz or arma in general, you know that sound of the 50cal. was the sound of nightmares!

It's very good you put payday in there, their guns usually have a pretty good animation with good recoil but i do suggest to increase your FOV so you can see the gun more otherwise it looks really akward

Battlefield 3 and MW3 came out in 2011, in BF3 the M82 sounds like a firearm but in MW3 it sounds like a star wars blaster.

Thanks to this video, we now know that Barrett .50 is a rifle that shoots bullets. Very cool!

the sound for the berret is always great but there is always a sniper in every game that is somehow better at almost everything including damage i think MW 2019 is the only game that has gotten the damage right

Never knew you could just mag dump a 50 cal without being impaled by a bump stock

In Ring of Elysium, the M82 takes like 3-4 shots to kill on a medium tier armoured target, but a gun like Remington 700 in the same game takes 1-2 shots. TAC-50, which is also a .50 BMG takes 1 shot on almost any amour just because the only difference is it being bolt action. I understand video game balances, but the developers should use a different weapon and caliber if they want to design a DMR that takes 3-4 shots to kill.

The Barrett from COD and ARMA sounds more like some sort of laser gun or something especially when rapid-fired. Except for BO2 that sounds more like an actual firearm.

"Barrett M82, Barrett M107" aren't both rifles the exact same thing, when the M82 entered service it got renamed to the M107

Battlefield 4's reload animations are beautiful, but guns could sound a lot beefier. Might get BF4 one day but for now considering the BF1 Revolution and Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition PSPlus bundle.
