Brilliant Cheema Sahab 😊👏👏 Topic of discussion kuch aur tha lakin Barrister Sahab ne ek bohat zaroori bat highlight kar De, Quaid i Azam was very intelligent to realise the importance of the business community therefore wanted to stop them from fleeing Pakistan. Infact if you ask me one single most important reason of Pakistani economic state today is the expulsion of the business community from Pakistan after declaring it an Islamic republic. I am fond of watching videos of both sides of old Pakistani’s and Indians who remember their old Indian or Pakistani villages and still remember them fondly, one thing I always noticed in Pakistani oldies was they used to mostly stay in pure Muslim villages in India but all those villages had always one Hindu baniya who all oldies remember very fondly by name, why did Pure Muslim villages have a single Hindu Baniya house in the village, because he was their banker, financier, now in Pakistan that beautiful link got totally uprooted after partition, in India they still play a very major role in our economics at any level, how could Pakistan survive without them, no MBA can replace the way the Baniya community knows how to do business. Unfortunately Pakistan society didn’t come up with a replacement from within our Muslim Castes, after all our caste structures on both sides are more or less the same Islam or no Islam. My thoughts but this is what happens when you artificially try and create a Nation.
Very nicely explained, Sir. The point about the village 'baniya' particularly. I remember from my childhood, in our village in Punjab, we had two 'baniya' families who ran the 'hatti' (provision shop). I remember the benign old men, Kanshi and Moti, who always gave me sweets when i went visiting during the school holidays. I only found out much later that my grandmother actually paid them later. Still, it didn't take anything away from their gestures, in my mind. They were money lenders and arhtiyas(commission agents) too. It also sort of puts into perspective the derisive way the Pakistanis mention the Hindus as 'baniyas', little knowing that every Hindu is not from that community. They must have grown up on their grandparents tales of the village life, and maybe because the 'baniya' was relatively more affluent than the Muslim peasantry, the grandparents must've held grudges, and also probably owed them money. It is those grudges that still probably manifest themselves in casual jingoistic utterances like 'India is a baniya country and we are a jangju qaum,with one of us being equal to 10 Hindus'. They don't realise that for every Jatt (like Qamar Cheema 😜) of theirs, there are more Jatts and Jats in India too. For every Muslim Rajput, there are double the Hindu (and Sikh) Rajputs too. Most of the Pakistani Muslims are from converted stock anyway, tracing their lineage from Hindu or Sikh (and others too) ancestors. Thanks for the great comment Singh sahib.

Actually Nafrat has been another important reason responsible for Pakistan’s present state, first Hindus, once they left it turned towards others within, otherwise like Barrister Sahab mentioned in this video can you imagine an old Quaid I Azam being snubbed by someone and being stopped from writing what he feels like, hanging of Zilfikar Ali Bhutto, uska bichare ka kusoor sirf itna tha he wanted to be a leader of his community, galti kis se nahi hoti, then killing of Benazir Bhutto, killing of so many more within, Shias, Qaidainis etc etc Bacchon main Nafrat ko paida karo fir usko palo to ye hi hoga, I feel very bad for the innocent Pakistanis and their children because somehow Nafrat was never taught to me and I also know they are from amongst us.

Mr. Hamid Bashani is a living legend. I've been listening to him for the last many years. He's ocean of political knowhow of South Asia. Most important is that he narrates the history without any prejudice. All his speeches, debates,conversations should be preserved in the form of a book or e-book as it can be light house for the coming generations of India n even Pakistan.
There are so many Pakistani channels whose aim is to produce anti Pakistani content and discussion. They even invite Indian speakers who blatantly speak against Pakistan….we the Indians are so simple and don’t understand that by watching these shows in lakhs the Pakistani channels are making bundles of money from YT and advertisers.
After listening to Barrister Bashani, as an Indian, I feel that the Balochs have been looted and oppressed by Pakistan quite a lot. If India is doing nothing for Balochs then it's high time that India got involved and helped Balochistan to gain Independence.

Loved this video. Hamid Bashann's intellect is sharp and his expression is flawless. India got rid of Zamindars or the land-owning class immediately after partition. It took a little longer to take care of the Maharajas, their privy purses were taken away by Indira Gandhi when she became the PM. Under Pakistan, the Baluchs will always remain hungry and illiterate. One who survives on the flesh left on the bones by hyaenas will die of hunger because they even chew the bones. The Punjabi politicians in Pakistan along with the predominantly Punjabi army are worse than hyaenas because they eat each other. Baluchistan can become prosperous only when it becomes an independent state and starts trading with India. Within a year, everyone will sleep on full stomachs, within two years a majority of children will be going to school and within five years there will be at least ten major hospitals in Baluchistan. This is not an empty promise. We have done this in Afghanistan and we will do even better in Baluchistan as the access is a lot easier. It's time Pakistan lost 41% of its landmass.

Barrister is telling the facts. Muslim League was not in power even in a single part of the region that came to be Pakistan. Congress was in power in NWFP what is now Khyber Pakhtunwa. Baluchistan was independent and Pakistan even recognized the Independence. Also Punjab was under the Unionists Party. The ashrafiya immigrants imposed India hate kafir hate and extreme Muslim ideology on the new settler state. And urdu an Indian language was imposed
When Pakistan is making its own mistaks in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan , there hardly left any scope for India to get involved directly !!
