I loved this episode but I have hard feelings towards Barry’s approach in this scene. He decided that once he found her he would stop and confront her. This ultimately made her aware he was there and gave her a chance to use her powers. Couldn’t he have just …. Ya know, not stopped to talk and instead directly send her to iron heights. Well, maybe none of that doesn’t matter because we don’t know the true cause of Barry’s descent to madness but still.

@@lishishur293 He has conflicts because the villains are usually written well. A prime example is Captain Cold as he's able to take on the Flash due to his wits and cunning, something which this version of the character and all of Flash's villains lack.

What kind of schemes does he come up with to keep that from happening? The only villains realistically that would cause a problem for Flash is other speedsters or if they have some kinda power that helps them keep him from moving them at super speed to prison

This episode just felt so eerie. Like a dream or elseworld. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong to the point that I thought Despero was testing Barry's will. Barry is under investigation at his job, Star Labs got shut down, and a mind-meta was messing with him. Also, that Joe reveal! I thought it was weird when he wasn't in the first episode, but didn't think much about it since it was one episode. The matter was brought up again when we saw Kramer, but no Joe. Then Cecil mentioned going through some stuff and I got even more suspicious.

It is possible that Reverse flash dragged Barry to their location after destroying it by taking his apperance. Hence, Barry not remembering what happened.

Don't read it you don't want spoilers. 6 months ago Joe died (offscreen) by being accidently tripped onto train tracks. Barry 'forgets' that Joe died so Barry thinks that he is going insane. Later it is revealed that Thawne had used the negative still force (the still force is a new force is sort of the time force) to change the timeline. So now Joe dies and Barry goes insane and become Thawne. Basicly swapping roles.

So Barry levels up in speed but not in his thinking!!🙃🙃 He should stop talking to villans. Why is even seeking answers from despero? Why did he show his real identity to him in the fast place. Now see how he is running him crazy using the people he loves. Am thinking even the thawne is another mind game despero is going to use. Despero's plan is to make everyone Barry loves be against him. Barry needs to first pluck out despero's third eye then we can see the next step forward.
