As he is just about to kick off his Mythology Tour, performing alongside his niece Sammy and son Steve, Barry Gibb held a media conference in Sydney today to chat about the show, his brothers and coming home to Australia
I love Barry Gibb. Love Love Love. My appreciation for The Bee Gees grows everyday. I listen to his album In the Now on repeat. I listen to all their music. It's a constant Bee Gees concert in my ears.
You know Barry is no doubt a family man.and loves his wife dearly.but he misses his brothers so so much as he said we were as one .always together joined at the hip.very painful questions for him about his brothers.we so wish we could mend his broken heart.your fans love you Barry.xx Thanks so much for sharing this footage.
I am waiting to hear a new concert date, I will travel just about anywhere. Barry is such a considerate, kind person with such a unique voice, and his aura creates an atmosphere for Steve and Sammy to bring out their own unique sounds, just like his brothers created an environment for each of them to do so. Exquisite human beings, all. Who manages to have a lifelong love affair like this, and even the audience has a lifelong love affair with him/them. Bee Gees, I cry when I hear the songs, they reach into my most profound experience of being human.

He is a gentleman. Such talent that we are all blessed to have experienced. I love the love between he and Linda. My hubby and i were married 2 weeks before them, and we are a few years younger. It can be done. Love respect and friendship. Yup thats the answer.

Didn't mean to get angry there. Certainly have all the empathy in the world for Barry and what he's going through and everyone who goes through it Fortunately for myself, I have not had to experience it in that manner.
The press need to quit asking Barry questions about his brothers. He is obviously devastated about the loss and he is trying to accept it and keep living and staying alive (hee,hee). He has kids and grand kids they need him and so does his mother. For the life of me though, I can't figure out why he has citizenship in the US. This place is becomming a cesspool. Where should he live? England, France, Belgium, New Zealand. These countries all have their crazies that go around mass killing people they don't know and for no reason. And all countries have their own drug problems.
Think about it. He is 75 years old now and all his kids and Grandchildren live in the USA. At that age you want to be where your family is. He has lived in Miami for over 40 years and his kids are Americans makes sense to become a citizen.
