Barry McDaniel sings "Avant de quitter ces lieux" (Cologne, 1969) 

The late baritone (Born in Kansas October 18, 1930, died in Berlin June 18, 2018) received a Fulbright in 1953 and would spend his career almost exclusively performing in Germany -- 37 of those years with the Deutsche Oper in Berlin. He sings Valentin's aria from Act II of Gounod's opera "Faust" with the WDR Radio Orchestra under the direction of Alberto Erede in this concert from Cologne in 1969.
