Saw this documentary last night , what an unselfish human being I was impressed at his humility throughout his entire short lived career he displayed character . God Bless you Barry and best of luck enjoying retirement. Best part was seeing him beat Troy Aikman in winning the Heisman award ....

Barry Sanders is an amazing story and an all-time great! My favorite running back of all time. Jemele Hill is in this documentary and she didn't call anyone racist. That is almost as amazing as the story - great work!

I still fantasize about Barry being drafted by Green Bay with that second pick. My gosh if Barry was paired up with that 90’s Brett Farve team…Cowboys and 49ers would see a lot of trouble from them.

I remember where I was when he retired. I was in a bar in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The locals were hooping and hollering. I went to the bar TV to see what was going on and I saw. They were cheering because the UP is Packer country and they weren't going to see Barry play for the Lions anymore.

Scott Mitchell is upset, but I watched the documentary twice, and no one brought up his name, during the 2 times I watched the documentary. Have no idea why he is triggered, over how HE was treated in the documentary? Did I miss something? I shall watch it again...

They mention towards the end about trying to get Montana and Moon. Kind of a backhanded way of saying "if only we had a good quarterback." That's what pissed him off.

And if they counted bowl game stats (like they do today) Barry would have had an extra 275 yard and 5 touchdowns to his Heisman stats!!
