The story is that at 14 years old he woke up and when he said good morning to his mother he scared her and himself because over night his voice suddenly changed into real deep!!! Now he had gotten into music right after he got into trouble with the law and was jailed briefly being in a gang. He wrote lyrics played instruments and composed music and started making these songs and was looking for a vocalist to sing them after he had sung them on his demo's only to realise that he was supposed to sing them and that's how all this happened, he also arranged and produced everything, that's why we call him The Maestro!!!!

He also did a song with Quincy Jones called “Secret Garden” featuring the amazing El DeBarge , Al B.Sure and James Ingram. It’s amazing. And y’all always say you don’t know older artists because you weren’t around then, but I knew who artist from the 40s and 50s were and I wasn’t around then. It’s about exposing yourself to artists from another generation. Luckily, My mom exposed me to music from her time, including Barry White.

Yeaaaahhhh, no. This wasn't love music, this was sex music. Yeah, he's talking about love, but people weren't falling in love to Barry White, they were falling in the bed. lol Same with Teddy Pendergast, the Isley Brothers, Marvin Gaye, etc. I know someone's going to respond and say no, I didn't do that, my boyfriend and I fell in love. OK, I'll give you that. Maybe a few people fell in love to it. But the reality is it was the 70s, everybody was partying and having a good time, and guys wanting to get laid played Barry White. Shrug.

The thing is this definately wasn't simp music... this was a MAN loving a WOMAN music or a WOMAN loving a MAN music... and it wasn't perfect.. it didn't always last but boy was it great while it did. As far as sex.. there was prelude.. maybe it came after a night of dancing, closer and closer and maybe it came after months of dating but it would still make you get that thump in your stomach just thinking about whoever you were with... I hope that this comes back around... I could see it happening because relationship couldn't get much emptier than I see today.

I can ID with what you're saying, but that's an indictment on where s3x-positive feminism has taken women today, to the point where men should feel like simps to talk about women this way when they have no self-respect and have been ran thru like a train, all in the name of "progress". 🙄 Back in the day young women were far more protective and discreet about their love lives. Say that is the problem you're worried about what other people may think back in the 70s 80s 90s we didn't care what people thought we made music that we loved and that we saw other people would love and and really resonate with him. You have to do what you feel is right not what other people feel is right and back then men weren't simp's and women felt as though their bodies were theirs and had respect for it cared about it and didn't give it up to just anybody no I'm not saying all women but a lot of them and now if you're a beautiful woman they want want want want want want want want want want from a guy with six figures and has a body of Adonis and that still doesn't mean that that woman will be faithful for you even if you give them what they want. You might want to also check out Al Green and so many other artists back in the 60s you can even go back to the 50s and hear some great music as well as you will find out that a lot of music has been remade from the newer artist or has been modified slightly even in rap songs they're even playing a lot of the music from back then in some commercials. I hope you enjoy delving into the music that was during my generation I was born in the early 60s and I tell you most people may or may not agree with me but if I was born today or if I had been born in mid-2000s and I knew what I knew then there's just about no way I would date anybody of the modern era not saying all women have gone down the path that we see almost everyday read about see videos about hear them talking about what all they want but don't really say anything about what they're going to bring to the table what they're going to offer. I hope you enjoy the music from my era there was no Auto-Tune if you look at sound systems today compared to back then you'll see that it is totally different I mean keyboards were just now coming out synthesizers and things of this nature and I don't believe in the 60s 70s and 80s hardly anyone even on the computer because they were so expensive and weren't really offered to the public yet but you also see that back then they had a system called off before the windows came along by Bill Gates of course he basically stole that or he paid the guy that came up with a program originally I think what was it $50,000 for it. I guess the guy didn't realize what he had but that's usually the case just like Zuckerberg he took that idea that was originally for college students to talk with each other on with Facebook and he took that now he did eventually have to pay them some more money after the lawsuit.
