He probably read that statement school districts put out years ago counting pizza as a vegetable serving because of how much tomato sauce it has. That or he's on coke.
First of all no one eats a cheesesteak everyday(unless you wanna die from cardiac arrest). Second, could some please teach him how to order a cheesesteak
Yeah right that would be like eating a New York style pastrami sandwich everyday. I think every organ in your body would just shut down. Both examples are something you’d eat every now and then. I don’t know...3 times a month maybe tops.
He stopped eating "steak and cheese" because he was feeling bad about himself but spends every day if his life eating eating American pizza!! Yeah, that dude was right. He is a strapper.
@@bigeric8334 well, you guys have others things like scrapple, hoagies and cheese steaks, to name a few, uniquely PA things. I would throw in townships and the Amish, but I see that is a NJ to Ohio thing, some say MI too.
Dalssandros gives American cheese unless you ask for something else. American or provolone were the standard almost everywhere except Pats when I was growing up in Philly. You start eating pizza and cheesteaks every day your heart will explode. If cheesteaks aren’t your thing try a hoagie. That’s from Philly too!
I’m sure he never reads these but the “wit” means with onions. Whiz wit means with cheese whiz and onions. I’m pretty sure one can ask for provolone or white American instead of the cheese whiz.
@@TheGalwayjoyce They use fresh steak and is in no way ground beef. Feel free to put up somewhere else, I'll stand by Carl's beating any of them including any in PA. They also don't use whiz, cause it's trash.
@@bluesteel6310 Whitehouse subs in AC is most famous but it's more a tourist spot...roses garden grill is my favorite..dinos is good too and spanks..I'm not sure if ur familiar but our area uses what is called an ac hardroll for all cheese steaks and subs which is different then the rolls they use in Philly ..it is much more firm but also chewy and they are made separate in local italian bakerys..I think they are unique to our area I heard it's something about the water in the ingredients
Look Dave I appreciate you’re trying to broaden your portfolio and I’m fired up to see cheesesteaks being folded in. But let’s face it, you are out of league here man. Your fumbling, and dribbling all over yourself. Pizza is a softball pitch (in a good way) it’s the perfect food. Sauce, cheese, and the crust. Complex but simple at the same time. You need elevated tastebuds and the metabolism of a young buck to step into the cheesesteak game. Entertaining none the less!!! Keep up the great work!! Risky but great!!
Calls prez strap job at a safe distance, he felt threatened having to repeat himself. You can tell by the nervous hair brush and then entering his vehicle for increased safety.
Not a Philly guy, so idk which is the traditional way, but all the sandwiches have to be ordered the same. Just like ur gold standard is just cheese no topping, u can't be changing cheese and adding peppers some times or onions another. Keep it the same
I just took my family from Mexico there 2 days ago and this, by far, was the best place where we had a great meal, the best of all the places we visited. NY, NJ, and Philly...my family loved their Philly cheese steak.
As someone from Philly- haven't tried all the cheesesteaks. But cheez wiz is the grossest thing, it's basically the spam of "cheese". It's not real cheese, and I'd never ruin an excellent cheesesteak with it. Could have gotten this, with nice melted provolone (provolone IS the superior cheesesteak cheese, and don't @ me on this), poured a bit of ketchup on it, and you have a delicious hoagie. The whole cheez wiz, not provolone, and no ketchup thing always grosses me out. And yes a proper cheesesteak needs to have sauteed onions & peppers on it. And they just go sooooo well with the ketchup. Try it sometime.
Jim's Steaks is my favorite cheesesteak in Philly. If you're interested the place is located at 400 South St, Philadelphia. I don't live in PA, but every time I go there I get Jim's. Make sure you have your order ready before you get in line.
0:13 that one handshake every guy dreads. When Dave grabbed all 4 of his fingers making it an inadequate handshake because you didn't get a good grip to begin with and you want to do a redo SO BAD but you know it's not possible. The rest of your day is ruined thinking how you could have went back and started over and you feel so inferior to the other person and all you can do is just cringe and take it on the chin..
As someone who's lived in Philly all my life I can honestly say I've never heard anyone in my life use the term strap job when it comes to dissing someone 🤷🏾♂️😂
If you've never heard someone call someone a strapper to dis someone in Philly, you've clearly not lived in South Philly. And Cleavers is BY NO MEANS one of the best places in the city. Angelo's, John's Roast Pork, D'Alassesandro's, and Jim's I'd say are the top places to go to. Phillip's Steaks has a good steak as well. Pat's and Geno's are STRICTLY commercial, decent steaks but overpriced and nowhear near the quality of the above mentioned, Angelo's being the best in my opinion, then John's.
You have to try... Steve’s The Prince Of Steaks, Tony Luke’s, John’s Roast Pork (Cheese Steak) get there early because they run out of rolls early. Jim’s on 4th and South.
Dave. Cheese wiz does not a cheesesteak make. That’s for drunk college kids from out of state and tourists. I personally don’t think peppers have a place either. But, that’s probably more controversial. American or Provolone, onions, with or without ketchup. Ketchup may be controversial to, but that’s how we always had it in my house growing up so that’s my jam. Ketchup cuts the fat a bit and adds a little tang.
