I actually only started eating pizza in highschool. Since then, I've eaten at almost every good pizza joint in philly. The pizza at this place is fucking off the hook. 9.7 from me, but of course I eat a lot less pizza than this guy. But in philly, he isn't kidding. That place is a mouth massage from god.

The crust is a 10. The pizza is not the best in philly

Philly is an underrated food city. Go there get some Angelo’s Pizza and literally anything in Reading Terminal Market. That right there is worth the trip.

Nah Danny doesn't need it. Not to say he isn't appreciative, he totally is hes the most humble guy, but everyone knows Angelos does amazing pizza and sandwiches. Everything is from scratch and Danny is super picky about what he serves to the customers, he didn't like the way the dough came out one day so there was no pizza for the day instead of serving something he believed was sub-par.

as griff king said, the owner appreciates the prez giving him the publicity and the high score of course, but Angelo's is always packed from open to close everyday. I live in the Philly burbs, but work in the city a lot and am constantly talking myself into driving into the Italian market just to get to Angelo's. The Pizza is hands down the best in the city. I thought Pizza Shackamaxon was up there, but it's not worth the 45 minute wait plus the hipster snobbery you put up with by the creeps that work there. All of the sandwiches are delicious as well, you really can't go wrong with any order you choose. After this review the place may have the line to order down the street instead of just to the entrance like usual.
