He’s in South Philly right by the Italian market, I grew up in the Northeast and still live here. That is a pretty fucking gay jacket though, almost everyone here wears hoodies.
Kekai Kobatake I think it’s because his clothes are “tight” which is weird because men in Europe make fun of American men for having clothes that are to loose lol. Someone’s confused here.
This pizza genuinely looks absolutely gorgeous and one of the pizza reviews I occasionally come back to due to the uniqueness of its style and the fact it looks absolutely delicious. I am my own worst enemy though, it's 6am in the morning and I'm coming to a pizza video to try and subside my hunger and desire to be in Dave's place in terms of eating it myself lol I mean i can lovingly anticipate the tangy flavoursome sauce already and I bet the cheese underneath gives it that perfect balance of sweet and tangy sauce and lovely savoury cheese underlining it. I hope the crust/dough is as beautifully soft and chewy as it looks!
Believe me. As someone who grew up in Philly and I live near one, the sausage pizza is ridiculously fucking good for no reason, and I hate sausage from every pizza place, but theirs. Their pizza is so fucking good, currently 12:13 am rn, and I’m craving a damn pizza Fuck
My wife and I were just wondering if you still thought the pizza looked gorgeous? A quick response would be appreciated as we’re having dinner and waiting for you to answer.
Back when the only Santucci's was on "O" st (around the corner from the Erie-Torresdale Elevated train stop, we used to scrounge money by collecting cans, bottle and selling soft pretzels. We'd pool our money and walk over two miles to get one of these pies. It was takeout only and we'd sit outside in 100 degree heat and wolf it down. About six years ago I got to eat at the 10th and Christian location after about 20 years away. It's actually better than I remembered.
The best you’ve ever had? Obviously you’ve never been to north jersey, New York, or Connecticut. One douche that only goes south, everyone knows he doesn’t know pizza
@@liberalweirdo7886 gotta say I visited NY and thought it was all just hype. UNTIL a buddy got me to Brooklyn and I tried Roberta's, Barboncino and Juliana's. Best slices I've had imo hard to rank but nowhere else I've had pizza has come close to those 3 yet. Brooklyn knows how to do pizza
@@godofdreamzzz Cheese on bottom, sauce on top. Seems to trip Dave up every time and also why it seems so saucy. It is more saucy than your average pizza but this is a tomato pie.
As a retired lab tech I can tell you... “You’re not alone!”. Big, honkin’, muscled guys will surprise you at how easy, they (hilariously) pass out at the sight of the first, red drop!🤣❤️ Love you Prez n Frankie...Carry on proudly!😘
Hey Dave, just trying your new One Slice frozen pizza right now for the first time down here in Atlanta - It's pretty good and can't wait to try the other 3 versions! Thanks!
That pizza is go good, my dad took me there for the first time a couple years ago in my addiction.. I remember absolutely loving that pizza and it took me away from my addiction when I ate it 💯🙏🏻
My family is from Philly, we moved to NC back in 95 but I still have an Aunt that lives there. Anytime we take a trip up, Santucci's is a must (as well as pretzels). Eat it once while we are up there and then also stop to get a few pies to take back home to NC (take & bake style). They aren't as good, but better than not having a Santucci's pizza.
@@Aerospace97 well normally businesses that only deal in cash are reporting less than they earn. So it's a red flag to the IRS. My barber does the same. I can only pay in cash. The prez prob shouldn't have said that in video. Lol
What we love about you Dave is your real. You don't change for anything or anyone for over the last decade. Definitely got more fit the more pizza you ate. Still don't know how that happened lol
When i was a kid my parents used to always get Santuci’s every Friday always solid pizza I would agree with the 7.5 but if you get the sausage and onions it goes way up to the mid 8’s
Constantly complains about not posting on main account, decides to make a separate account. Also I figure it is just to promote his shitty app for profits.
Santucci's is the kind of pizza that you have as a treat. It's not your daily lunch pizza, but if you go a while without it, you're gonna get the hankering that only Tucci's can sate. To me, it's a straight 10, but I grew up by the original where it was a part of the neighborhood culture to get Tucci's for special occasions, big games, etc. I understand that Dave is rating it as a sort of daily driver pizza-as-pizza thing rather than it's own thing, and I'm glad that he explicitly called that out
santucci square pizza now generations later we grew up eating almost every week especially during lent and today we continue on with the santucci pizza tradition 8.9 🙏🙏
If you’re still going to be in Philly tomorrow, check out Vince’s Pizzeria on Grant Ave, went on Saturday, was very good, left an 8.8 on the one bite app!
That’s an upside down pizza. Anthony Franco’s by me in NJ makes it. Very very good. Looks better than a 7.5, my mouth was watering watching you eat it cause I know how good Anthony Franco’s makes it by me. 🤤
go out to julios famous pizza in oxford valley, they cook an original recipe from a neighborhood joint called gina's from philly back in the day. best pizza from philadelphia although their current location isn't in philly persay
