Barstool Pizza Review - Conzo's Pizza (Toronto, ON) 

A dude who appears to be in his 50s/60s saying he watches the reviews with his kids every night is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in a long time.

Loved the guy's reaction to the 8.2. Might not seem like a crazy high score to the untrained eye but all the true fans know that's a monster score.

Am i understanding this correctly?? The owner knew the score you gave would bring great buisness to his shop and was instantly super humble and honored. Not only that, he suggested other great pizza places in town. What a show of character. Deserves all the success they get and more.

He accidentally bites off too much cheese and compensates with a last moment pizza dough bite. Legend

The way they reacted after he finally gave a pretty high score lol, Pizza looks very professional and good.

Honestly, seeing the owners reaction to the score was fucking outstanding. I do think Dave needs so more recognition for what he’s doing for these smaller businesses. You know to make great pizza in a single outlet is not all about the money. The boost these places must get from a visit from the Pres is so well deserved.

Congrats to Conzo's, they deserve the high score. Also shout out to the owner for giving Massimo's its well deserved shout out. That's the OG pizza spot in Toronto on College Street from the 90s. Amazing pizza, pasta and specifically the famous round garlic bread. Dip that garlic bread in the penne puttanesca sauce they had and you were in heaven.

"That's fucking right buddy!" just made my day. We the viewer, Dave, no body knew they were lurking back there until the score came out LMAO You know he is a huge fan of Dave's, not just from the story of watching his videos, but by the way he responded to the pizza being scored an 8.2. An 8.2 is "Worth driving up to 2 hours for" good. That's a damn good score.

The owner saying you have to try Gigi and Fresca, speaks volumes of his humility… characterwise, that’s a 9.8 in my book, and just for that I’d love to go to their place.

It's amazing how many people were supper exited to see you. You handled all the people so well. And showed amazing respect to everyone. Great content, and great personality man. I love your pizza reviews.

Probably my favourite of the Toronto series... the way it starts with the dude carefully crafting pizzas with a Bleecker shirt on, you just know it's going to be a good pizza. Then the kitchen crew going crazy for the 8.2 was perfect, couple humble dudes in Toronto.

The cheers after the score was heart warming to say the least. Dave is the POPE of pizza... When dave ranks pizza people listen... He's the ROCKY of pizza... He should receive a Nobel piece a pizza award.. All jokes aside it isn't just tasting pizza there's way more happening than just a pizza score. Dave is really a humanitarian who has a lot of good affect on people and they're lively hood. He is showcasing AMERICA and now Canada's small businesses. the good the bad aaaannnd the the hot garbage. Your a great human sir. Keep up the good work.

UPDATE: Conzo's is closed but you can still get the pizzas. They closed the pizzeria and expanded Bar Sugo and still offer the pizza there.

I bloody love Canadian people! Lived there for a year 6 years ago, and I left Banff to visit Toronto for a week, being an Aussie I was so impressed by all the bars and amazing pizza

I love a pizza that actually has some crust on the edges, especially when it's got burnt bubbles. As soon as it was opened, I knew it'd be good. Prez does good things for people. You know the rules.

Terrific review. You could tell he almost gave it a score less than it deserved because of the initial flop and thick crust. He knew it tasted phenomenal and even almost finished a second slice. My buddy visited soon after this video came out and said it was some of the best he’s had in the city.

For those who don’t know, Conzo’s is heavily inspired by Lucali’s and you can see it. They travelled to New York before making the restaurant their favourite was Lucali’s. The pizza oven is insane. I’ve been there 3 times. I’d give it an easy 8.5-9 (based on North of Brooklyn getting an 8.4). This place is probably considered the best pizza in Toronto with Badiali right there.

Bombolone are Italian doughnuts. They are amazing! He gave you a tiramisu flavor, but you can stuff them with all kinds of creams.

In a world where everything's a 0 or a 10 and grades have lost their meaning, this channel is a breath of fresh air. Seriously, people nowadays think a 7 is a bad score. If 5 is average, 7 is a GREAT score. 8.2 from this man is worth 100x a 9 and 10 from most people, and those chefs know it
