Dave raised money and gave it out fairly and promptly to all types of small business during the Pandemic. That is a fact! For a business owner to make such a ridiculous display, on the street with women and children walking around is a disgrace. Dave or no Dave, this owner seems to be just a massive Dick. Why would anyone want to patronize a place where the owner was such a raving asshole?

I think the small shirt was just the cherry on top of bad decisions that owner made that day. The first bad decision he made was making a mediocre or in other words a straight up bad pizza lmao

Every time Dave asked him about the place or the owner he didn't have an answer...he just went silent. He and the owner (his supposed former boss) clearly had never met...they didn't even acknowledge each other.
The guy was a loser. Constantly plugging himself. Also opened up daves pizza box, gets offered a slice because dave is nice, and then he just takes a bite and throws it back in the box.
The manager whipping his fingers out like he's gonna count the reasons why Dave is an embarrassment and then just counting off "Everything. Everything. Everything" gets me every time.
He never really recovered from that moment until today. That woman is now pondering her existence as she's been usurped by Dragon Pizza guy & Dom of the year.

Probably one of the best interactions Dave has had with a shop owner in this series. Both guys just being completely authentic to who they are at their core. Big respect for both. Great content.
That owner coming back out again was the worst decision he’s ever made. Made it 10x worse. Every time people try to get Dave away from their shop, it ends poorly (see Goodfellas)

The funny thing is, Dave was actually very polite during the review. He never said the pizza sucked, just that he's not a fan of the parm flavor and that it was sitting in the box too long. I thought the owner was coming out to offer him a fresh pie, which would have been the smart move. But NO! He decided to tank his whole business instead. Unbelievable.

Actually the pizza is pretty good. I know because I have been there multiple times. But they really are known for their different specials, i.e. combination of toppings. You can buy different types of slices kind of like an NYC pizzeria.
I love how the owner counts on his hand reasons why Daves business is an embrassement, while just saying "Everything". Thats how you make a solid argument, everybody knows the rules.

I just watched this three times in a row and gets better and better each time. First this Dom Of The Year guy, a classic character, one for the ages. The leaning into the screen during the argument is classic. Then this owner, wearing a tight Star Wars shirt comes out of nowhere and gets eaten alive by Dave. Then Dom Of The Year just slides back in. Then the owner comes back and flicks him off. Instantly after a bunch of people line up for photos and telling Dave how well hes helped out small businesses. Just unreal. Alll time classic.

Exactly. Just having Dave show up and show off the business helps out regardless of what score he gives. If he gives a great score, it really can make a business explode in sales overnight. I’m not sure why so many people hate Dave for doing this.
For the same reason people crap on guy fiere. I mean sure he’s a bit out there and maybe someone should check the crawl space of his home for orphan bones but he is undeniably giving exposure of small eateries throughout America who otherwise would not have the funds or resources to gain recognition on the platform any other way.

Dave's such a God. Is on the street for 10 minutes and a billion people come and ask for pictures and even has someone who PERSONALLY knows one of the guys by name who Dave helped during Corona. Couldn't have scripted any better.
