True, but what is the difference between 8.4, 8.5, 8.6 etc… It is the number he comes ip with in in his head at that point in time that is in the ballpark of what he thinks. His absolute certainty on miniscule score differences is what makes his videos popular, even though he would later second guess most of them off camera.
Hell yeah.. Theres an italian spot by me opens at midnight. Closes at 4 AM... Best bread ive ever had. Best pasta. Almost the best pizza. When they're open; people file in and out buying gallons of sauce. Only people running it is an old lady cooking; her son seating people and taking orders. And some guy that sits outside smoking cigarettes between deliveries. 😂 Truly is an awesome spot. Im not a night owl. But I stayed up for this place many times.
The OG Snooki! Fond memories of her bringing the best of pies to our tables when I was a little boy... back when she had long black hair past her lower back. We called her "the nice lady with long hair!" Nunzio's #1 baby!!!

Most all the places, at least the vg ones, didn't need his help. If anything, all of the North Jersey trash who were at the beach saw this video, and burnt up the telephone lines when this came out to the point that they stopped taking 'take out' calls. Dear David, I am no longer allow my son watch your reviews. you are crazy man. My son is 7 he watch all your videos and now he start talk exactly like you all the time, so loud. This is hands down one of my favorite reviews. I feel like I could picture myself in Dave’s shoes just meeting all these new people. The vibes really lent to the score I feel. It shows and I love that.
Been eating their pies for a LOOOOONG time... later in life When I moved into the house next door they brought over 2 pies and said welcome to the neighborhood... my 2 all time favorites...Nunzios and Vic's....

He tries to act like he has some sort of system. "My standard score for Neapolitan is 6.7" and so he gives that score to everyone. Now he's trying to make up a score for the bar pie because he sucks at scoring.

I know this place & I went to school with Louie & Snookie! In fact, Louie was in my home room. They lived a couple of blocks away from me, as well! I've had pizza's all over the country & NUNZIO'S is THE BEST!! I wish I could get Louie to send me one, down here in Texas! I MISS them!! And, I've seen Dave Portnoy on FOX & FRIENDS & Fox news, for giving $$$ to SOOO MANY small restaurants to help keep them afloat during this Pandemic!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...Y'ALL!!
I grew up on this pizza! Snookie still looks the same as when I’d go pick up pizza for mom and dad 40 years ago! Except she had really long hair! Still our favorite pizza place when we go home to Oceanport! I’m so glad to see this one get the high marks it deserves! 👍
Dave is becoming a legend. Not just the younger generation likes him, but the older generation also. This pizza thing really brings people together. Something so simple does this. The politicians really screw everything up and keep us divided, when we are not. Keep it going Dave.
@@cp2291 I do not have Facebook , I can only base my opinion on these reviews, and based on them, he is great with everyone that was in the videos, unless they were an asshole to him first, and I support him for the eye for an eye attitude.
This joint, along with many other places near New York are pure America. They describe what we are. There are three Michelin star restaurants in the city. They are lovely and I have been to one. However, if I had a friend visiting from another country and wanted to let them know what we are all about, this is the kind of place I would take them to have dinner. The pizza is great, but the people running the place are what is important, not the pizza. Thanks Dave for pointing this out, and not just shutting the camera off after judging the pizza. Snooki is the best!
Yeah it doesn't add up. He definitely looks like he enjoys the Jersey pizza better yet scores it worse... back when he did Papa's and DeLorenzo's though he did bring out the 9s
I was born and raised in Long Branch, NJ a couple blocks from this place and I can confirm that Nunzios has some of the best pizza I've ever eaten from my area in NJ. Their Italian food is amazing also. Sadly, they are retiring and sold the business and building. Not sure what the new owners will do. Lots of iconic places where I grew up have shut their doors forever. So sad. Guess that's life.
That has to be some super high pressure he takes on. He gives a legit review, when most people are thinking in smaller numbers of reviews. An 8 point anything is phenomenal. That lady is a solid 8.5 even at 75.
Wow! Can’t believe she’s 75! Not only looks but the way she moves and talks is like a 30 year old! Geez! And she manages to stay thin working in the restaurant biz…good for her 😊
