Barudan: Switching From Caps to Flats

the cap drive is on the machine and tight? And you're saying the cap frame is not sitting on the cap drive snugly?

I had just restarted my one head Barudan and when I push the cap hoop on.....the whole bar moved. It's not secure and moves side to side, back and forth. What have I broken? Have I blown the fuse?

I don't think you have broken anything, is the machine turned on? After the machine gets turned on the motors hold the pantograph in its place. Please don't think I'm belittling you or calling you uneducated, I'm just running through the things to check to find the problem.

Thank you! Maybe I've blown the fuse. This Barudan has the motor sitting on the shelf below. I can't see where the fuse goes.
