As soon as Naruto arrived, Code took Shikamaru hostage and then impaled Boruto in front of him, turning him all the way around so he couldn't fight. Given Code's attitude and how they got rid of Naruto in the forest, everything seems to indicate that Code was going to get beaten up. For today's scale, the Hokage is still a clear threat.

He was that demon power up in early Naruto, furthermore he was giving his powers to Naruto so he would survive(bridge battle, orochi fight, kimmimaro fight, gaara fight, Sasuke fight), but we didnt even see him talking with Naruto in Naruto S1as far as I remember. So he kinda start talking in shippuden,thats when he got his personality for me. Tbh I didnt feel anything when Kurama died, but when Sasuke got stabbed I thought he would die, but in the end I was suprised that they would nerf both main characters in one episode

Yeah definitely, they're still the strongest ninja around even without Kurama/Rinnegan, but when the next antagonist directly after this one is essentially as strong/stronger than Jigen it won't matter much considering Jigen was able to overwhelm both of them and he was just a more limited Isshiki. They're not weak, its just the the next enemies are going to continue to scale too much for them at least to be able to handle by themselves like they used to.

Same set of enemies (Akatsuki/Kara)The formula never changes.
