Great tutorial. I suggest some extra video showing that the the provided template hole is 57mm from the edge of the bandsaw frame, whereas you will probably need to change this to 75mm in the case of BAS 316. I bought mine in 2001 and was the case for me. This information was provided in the box with the new guide that I bought. Great upgrade - I got fed up with repairing the original guide every time very cold conditions made the crap casting brittle.
just fitted these to my BAS 315. the results are excellent - it's like having a new saw. the only problem is that the extrusion is a bit tight in the groove, but rather that than too lose
Hi there I have a Electra bekum 315 and I have a problem trying sort out blade drift . I don't a instruction manual . Even without the guide . When I try to follow a line it drifts . Hope you can help cheers on advance
Hi Liam, apologies we must have overlooked the comment thread regarding the 450. I'm afraid this kit is only suitable for the 315 and 316. We have tried it with a customer that had a 450, but it was returned a few days later.
Hi Yvan, we haven't tried this kit on a BAS 317 therefore cannot confirm if it would fit however the blade guides for the BAS 317 are still available, you shouldn't need to use this kit.
