The thing about Dragon Burn that you mentioned is something I've tried to explain to some mouth breathers that just say "git gud" to every stupid thing in this game. They'll say D. Burn isn't that good cuz it's predictable even tho that's EXACTLY why it's good. Idiots that don't respect it get caught by it all the time, and idiots that use it all the time eventually get washed by people that know how to play around it. However, as soon as you show even a little restraint on using it, the person that tries to bait it out or avoid it starts doing unoptimal combos, which means the D. Burn user takes less damage and/or gets to reserve more stamina because of that paranoia fear factor. D. Burn users that think even a little bit about when to use it end up having the cards so much in their favor that they don't even have to use it to get out of damage.
