Episode 31 is the third installment of the "Highs and Lows of Sports Card Shows" series here on the channel, where I scored a Carlton rookie and helped a fellow card dealer in need.
That was so classy of you to help when your time was limited. Michael Bourne was a hot prospect,he was up there with some guy named Ryan Howard! Smokey Burgess held the pinch-hit record for years before I heard as a kid MannyMota out on the west coast break it!
Per usual very entertaining and good for you helping the big guy. Your philosophy is right on and nice pickups. I was an intern at Philadelphia General Hospital in the mid 70's before they tore it down. Loved my year in Philly!
Thank you for the refreshing perspective on card collecting, while I’m 99% a basketball collector (35 years worth) I can truly respect the passion for the hobby! This is the first video of yours I’ve watched, but it won’t be the last.
Good job being available to what life puts in your way. I wish we had shows like that in Colorado Springs. Vintage is pricey in my opinion no matter the grade here . Interesting.😊
Steal on the Carlton! Nice. I would have been happy paying a lot more. I had a poor condition one and sold it to finance a VG. Love the 53 Bowman cards. Always sharp photos. Nice video.
I used to be good, but then they changed the definition of good, and suddenly what I was, wasn't good, and what they tell me is good isn't something I want to be.
$10 for the Carlton, if you ever find another one for that price, just saying there is another Carlton collector that would be happy to take it off your hands😂
Hey, where was this? I’m out near valley forge and need more options besides the 3x a year Philly and the show that rotates around several declining malls
@@PhilliesBaseballCards 2019 short print rookie cup Ronald acuna from heritage to start with. I need t replacement for the one I sold a couple days ago. Heritage hits are hard to get. I will take any. Love heritage for some reason. I think it's the cardstock they are made of. You can store them for a few years and they dont get glued together like glossy cards.
