I love my field but I also hate it. It always floods and the water just sits on top of the dirt. We have to pump it off most of the time. I decided to put in these French Drains at Shortstop and Third Base. It has helped some! I believe it would work anywhere you have a drainage problem, not just on a Baseball Field!

How about after digging the auger holes the different types of dirt that came out of each hole? Do you think that's the main problem in the first place? The Field was built on an existing swamp with whatever soil was originally there. 95% clay based which has no drainage compacity. The people in charge of construction should be ashamed!
