I love how it's not meant to be funny but the way everything was filmed in the shot was made to be funny. Honestly, I thought it was a dark comedy at first.

This was such a strange movie to me as a kid. I think my parents thought it looked like a comedy like Sandlot and it had funny parts but then it'd have these dramatic moments. I get it more now and do appreciate it.
