when this movie came out me and my friends used to quote Parkman all the time, he was a hilarious villain. Rube was the exact opposite of Parkman, but just as good a character
David Keith was perfect for the role of the main villainous best hitter on the White Sox Jack Parkman. He's clearly more intimidating than Clue Haywood on the Yankees in the first movie.

Yeah, Hayes is a passenger with a certain number. He says something about white people playing basketball. Also US Marshall Sam Gerard is after him. That Hayes guy is two different people too.
Actually had a Coach in high school slackers in gym peckerheads. everytime see this scene i think him. hewas good hearted person fun to be around. long as you put out a effort.
This made me smile. The only MLB I went to was with my Paran(godfather) and Pa. It was 2 Texas teams playing. I it was over a decade and a half ago. Maybe more. I bought one of those small bats of the game for $5, it's still in my front room no matter how many times I moved. My Pa passed away and he was the closet person I ever lost. He left my Paran all his baseball caps, my paran told my mom he had one for me. It was the one my Paran bought for my Pa at that game, I cried so hard, I was never big into baseball, but this was a huge experience.
@gargouenzene Maybe now when players, coaches & umps are wired for sound. 25+ years ago... Robin Ventura charged Nolan Ryan on the mound... Ryan put Ventura in a headlock & punched him 6 times [see the RU-vid video]. Ryan was not ejected. 1980s & 1990s there was alot of latitude that wouldn't fly now. That Parkman smash into Baker... that's been over the line since Buster Posey's gruesome injury.
It’s been 20 years, I’ve seen the major league movies quite a bit growing up and I never realize until now that they swapped Snipes for Omar Epps to play Hayes 😂😂😂😂😂
Fuck dont feel bad i realized today that Cerrano is the All state guy. That guy looks entirely different then his younger self. I hear the voice but i never seen that they were the same actor
Who also noticed whenever Hayes slid into home he had dirt all over him but whenever he went back into the Dugout he didn't have anything on them at all
And why did he touch home plate after he dove over the plate? If you look, his foot hit the plate as he was landing. No need to reach back for the plate 😆
Right?! I’m a diehard Red Sox fan, but I live in close to Camden Yards, and we go all the time when the Sox are here. When we’re not in a pandemic at least. 😂
@Andrew Furrer But you see hes Layed out when the Mask comes off then when the camera Cuts back to him its back on his head and hes still down like he didnt do any effort to put it back on
@@hectorlopez1069 I agree. He carried it seamlessly. And that's not the case with the continuation of most characters by another actor. I agree, great choice.
Just saw the video of Blue Jays' Chris Coghlan making this move on Cardinals' catcher Yadier Molina - just like in the move. None of the articles I read even referenced the move "Major League II"
It was sad to see his character die at the beginning of Scream 2 along with Jada Pinkett but at the same time when first saw it...I expected it. Don't look at it as being racist because I'm not...half my family is black and my girlfriend is black as well.
Love the trash talking in this movie lol!! Parkman was the guy you love to hate! David Keith is a good actor though, I like him in anything he does whether he's a good or bad character.
