Basement Bar Using Air Stone from Lowe's

We put this video together to help anyone looking to use Air Stone. We have never used Air Stone before but found it very easy. You will need a good hack saw and extra blades for cutting the stones along with a level, sharpie (to mark the back of the stone for cutting) a measuring tape and a trash can. Take your time and keep the edges clean so that you won't have any isues with dried adhesive. This was a lot of fun and took us about 3 days or a total of 15+ hours not counting the back splash which I did after we installed the cabinets and countertops. It is a lot of fun. I will say though cutting the stone isn't a easy with hand tools so I hope you have a better saw than I did lol

I did this on my kitchen bar and it's WAY harder than tile because the stones are not uniform shape so i had to shape each tile's width. I would never use this product again. I have done 3 back splashes and two showers - so I'm no tile expert but I do have 3 water saws ... Some tiles were far thicker than others, 30% waste, I did return all the broken tiles and blotchy dark ones.

I think it took 2 full flats and part of a 3rd and 2 corner boxes. I'm not sure they make the corner pieces still. It was a fun project. We will be updating one of our bedroom walls with a product that is wood but easier than ship lap. I'll post it once we are done.
