I’m doing this now on my three sided fireplace. It’s a real pain with how many cuts I have to make but is looking nice so far.

Ah. Good question. I painted my walls a similar color to the stones. That way, if there’s a gap it’s not noticeable.

How well do you think this would adhere to paneling and paneling with wallpaper on it?

Hey there. I’d take down the paneling and/or the wallpaper first. Then, I’d apply the airstone.

What is the avg time did to take install the stones walls?

Hey there. It took a while, but I couldn’t dedicate entire days to it. I could only work in a few hour increments at a time. For my walls, if I had guess on the amount of hours, I’d probably say somewhere close to 80 hours.

It’s not bad. Most important thing is to make sure your first row is level. You do have to keep checking as you go, though, when you put each stone on. I liked to use some broken pieces of shims to help me keep things level along the way. You can always remove them when the adhesive dries.
