I’ve been studying the Precept way which in inductive. There’s no other way for me. I have 2 favorite study bibles....I’ve been working on them for a very long time. One is for my daughter and one is for my son....I was planning on leaving for them when I go Home. My son is a nurse in an Emergency Room in Atlanta so I’m working extra hard on his right now and will be sending it to him in about 2 weeks along with all of my notes, etc. I am so loving your videos and I agree 100% with you about being a true Christian and studying His Word. How else can we possibly grow in love toward Christ if we don’t “know” Him? God bless you sister....Beverly
Hi Nicki! I use the Pentel RSVP in fine point, it comes in a lot of colors. I never had shadowing no matter how thin the paper. I am currently reading thru the Bible in a year. I am also in small group with my church, and we are studying First Peter.
Right now my go to pens are “Mr. Pen”. I love them, they don’t bleed through my Bible. Also I use the Mr. Pen Highlighters. You can find both on Amazon..
I shed all the time! The longer the hair the more I notice rouge hairs everywhere! Lol love these suggestions! The pens I use in my bible are the Pentel RSVP in Med and they come in many colors. They don’t bleed but you can see the shadow on the reverse side sometimes. I use the gel markers, crayola twistables and June Gold 2.0 colored pencils.
This was a great video Nicki! I wouldn’t have thought to use loose leaf paper, but keeping it in a binder is a really good idea especially since notebooks are more limiting than a binder. Thanks for sharing!
I love your channel! It’s a fantastic, positive place on RU-vid! The pens I use are the micron & they have not bled thru on any bible or planner I have. (I have black & colored micron) I also use “studio series” bible highlighters. They do not feel waxy like others & every “marker” type has bled thru!
I use erasable pens markers and highlighters and gel highlighters for my bible I'm doing a topical bible study on Purpose out of my kjv know the word study bible
Definitely Micron pens. Love them so much. It's all I will use in my bible. Just got my first Jelly roll pens and I'm having so much fun with those in my planners.
Yes, I shed all the time Love your suggestions, I found that highlighters bleed through so I switched to colored pencils (light shades) and the twist are nice for wide lines but I prefer the old wood ones because I can get a fine point on those for tight areas in drawings
Hey Nicki, I just watched this video (probably AGAIN!) and wanted to share my latest find with you. You asked about pens that don't bleed or shadow. Yes, microns are great (the tiny tips). But I know you've heard of Tombows. Well, Walmart is currently carrying a set of Tombows that have dual tips. What I love about them is that the tips are not "felt" like microns, but plastic! So they don't wear down like the micron. The fine end doesn't bleed or ghost, and the heavier end doesn't bleed (altho it does ghost a bit). And I just tried it out so I could tell you for sure. Unfortunately there's not a very lg variety of colors in the pack, but I make do by using other pens. I hope you can give them a try!
Yes! I am a hardcopy girl! And I am very visual - so I love to mark up and pretty things up :) The Pigma Microns for sure - and I get the smallest .005 / .20mm . These are perfect & super fine. In between, so to speak, the regular concordance and the lexicon are the Zodhiates Word Studies Dictionaries - have you ever tried these. They are a 'must have' if you love word studies. I started using them when I started Inductive/Precept Upon Precept Bible Studies, many years ago. I love seeing what other use for their quiet time/studies - thanks for sharing!
I just got a 0.05 Staedtler pen. It was just like the micron when I tried it out at Michael's but it had a bit lighter shade to the ink so that's why I picked it. So far I really like it! I've never heard of that word study guide. I'll have to check it out!! ❤️
CrazySimpleTruth with NickiDrake So glad you found a pen you like - is the price better? Because Microns 😬 I use the .05 size in my journals/notes. I save the really fine .005 for Bible pages. The Zodhiates go off the Strong’s numbering system, so that’s helpful. The Dictionaries are separate for OT & NT. They also have specific Key Word Study Bibles you can get to go with them that have the Strongs numbers printed above (or below?) each word in the text. I got these over 20 years ago. I was a baby believer so I thought I needed all the things, lol. They only had KJV back then so I rarely, if ever, used the Bible’s. I still use the dictionaries all the time. If you ever get to look at them, I would love to know what you think of them.
If you can see ghost from the Bible text you cannot get a pen that doesn't. Its really more about the thickness of the paper. Try a 40 GSM bible you will love it
Hello, I love adult coloring. Therefore had a lot of coloring pencils on hand. I was studying in my bible (didn’t have a highlight handy) picked up a coloring pencil, loved it. Prismacolor brand works great.
@@nickidrake wow really? they really good and don't bleed thru. You can find them at the Muji Store... here is the link www.muji.com/us/ you can see if there is a store near you.

CrazySimpleTruth with NickiDrake it’s a fine tip if you buy the 03 and it doesn’t bleed through the thin pages. I underline and write notes. It’s not a gel pen. I’m not sure what it’s considered. I will send you a link on messenger for you to check it out in Amazon.
Totally off topic but I LOVE the shirt you’re wearing in this video! Where did you get it? And now back on topic, will you be sharing your new Bible study method here on RU-vid or just on Patreon?
Everything cute I wear was either something my mom had and then passed on to me or purchased by my mom on clearance for me!! She's cool like that! So IDK where it's from.lol ❤️ The Bible study will be an interactive workbook and there will be a video series that can be purchased separately or as a lower priced bundle. That will be in the next few months. However, I will be teaching a new method (not the one in the book, but similar!) here on RU-vid very very soon and teaching my new highliting guide along with it because everyone is so excited to get a sneak peek!! ❤️
