Haven’t danced for some time and find these tutorials absolutely wonderful, you guys are amazing, your look, style and teaching presentation is second to none x
Thanks for video. My wife and I had to crash course cha cha by the weekend for a Christmas party dance. We learned the moves by dance time thx to you both.
Hello Jari R! That's awesome! Way to rock it. Did u bust out all 10 steps and then some? 😉 Glad that was helpful and we hope you'll keep dancing. Check out our other crash courses if u haven't already. 👍🏼
All your videos are so good because it is easy to follow and understand and most of all, it is very entertaining. It really helped me alot. I'm so glad i found this beautiful Channel.
Very helpful for first half--you made it no-fault, fun and simple. Later, tho, we needed a warning that the step was about to begin, AND on which foot/leg so we could practice along--we needed several reps to get into it! BUT you're upbeat and dissection of the moves is good. Eventually I got tired from missing steps.
Rand H thank you for the awesome feedback!! The way you explained what you needed is really clear and helpful for us to understand how to make our video lessons even better for you. 😊🙌🏼 Any other suggestions? PS: consider using the slow down feature on the RU-vid player (click the gear icon and you can choose the speed) when u wanna take another crack at this. Happy dancing!

@@DanceInsanity Cha Cha is now my latest obsession. I feel I should do the Mambo next. But I still have a long way to go to stay on time with the Cha Cha! It's' like a tennis game where I can keep it up for a few back and forths but then I lose time, lol. I will get it and with your help. Keep up the great work!
After not dancing for three years due to health, Covid, family issues I resumed dance maybe 5 months ago. These videos have helped tremendously in refreshing my lost or forgotten memory and timing. Thanks!
You are so great. What a fantastic teachers. I am so glad you have time to truly teach,. Repetition is the key to teach. And learn , thank you. You are apréciated. Thank you
Many dance schools must be gnashing their teeth cuz you are so good that they are being put out of business by your peerless online classes! Thanks a million!
YOU GUYS ARE SO AMAZING!!! I can feel the heat even when this is just a tutorial hahahuhu. You guys are so gorgeous and wonderful. This is a great help, I'm a dancer but I don't do chacha and we have a presentation coming up. Thanks a lot for this this is a great help!!! I gotta learn the sexy hip moves.
The quality of the video is insanely good! Definitely fit for the younger audience to learn Latin dancing because it's more interesting than the usual tutorial. Well done Tytus & Li Wen.
Wirabhaya hello and thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. 😊 we'd love to get more and more youngsters to be interested in Latin dancing! Do you dance socially/ shows/ competitions? Welcome to Dance inSanity!
@@DanceInsanity I do competitions here in Indonesia. I really hope your channel get more subscribers because the quality of your videos is so good. Maybe I will show some of your videos to a friend of mine. Wish you best of luck!
@@SuperWiera Thank you! Yes, please share with those who can benefit from our videos. :) Is Latin dancing popular in Indonesia? Good luck with your competitions. 👍🏼🏆
Omg, I am so happy I found your channel!! My husband and I just started ballroom dancing and your tutorials are the best! So entertaining and educational! Easy to follow! I LOVE them!!
Hi Titus & LiWen, mike Durrigan (Sunnyvale) from allegro (titus from long ago) and we all met at Dance Blvd several months ago long before this crisis. Anyway the Cha cha video is absolutely great! Maybe the best introduction to basic cha cha I have seen and been on the floor for many years! I paid a price for dancing Standard and American - my Latin was put on the back burner so to speak : ( Never too late to improve and have fun …. glad to see both of you trying to stay connected to people. Be safe and healthy and hope to see you on the Dance Blvd floor when this crisis is over. Will look to view your other videos and will check out the hips video - we standard dancers can benefit from loosening our hips! best --- mike
What an amazing find. I can't believe youtube waited to so long to recommend your channel to me!! But I'm very happy now, so I forgive them. haha. This video is so awesome on so many levels - the explanations, the editing, the humor, the dancing and your chemistry together. Fun to watch and fun to follow along. Keep up the great work and thank you!
I am thoroughly enjoying this channel and I keep coming back to it whenever I feel like I need a refresher course. One thing I would like to see more of, though, is the explanation of cues a leader is supposed to give to their partner (seems you skip that part for some elements). Other than that, everything is perfect! :D
@@DanceInsanity Most of the time I'll be browsing the cha cha and rumba clips. Unfortunately I don't get to dance or practice those quite that often. In any case, whenever I re-watch a clip I see a nuance or a detail I've missed, which is what has me hooked ;)
@@DanceInsanity Yes when i have time, especially at weekends!!what about you? Do you go out for dancing and contests? Are you teachers and have your own school?
Dance Insanity omg hii, well I’m a grade 9 student and we have a project where I have to do a solo routine cha cha (im a girll btw, and we can follow a solo routine from any video in youtube) I seriously know nothing about cha cha so I really don’t know where to start T_T
Angel David well hello and welcome! You’re at the perfect age to start doing cha cha! 😍Definitely can use this routine and just do the first 5 or so steps. Do u have to perform/ video yourself dancing to music?
@Mikey 4LUV ahhh... wonderful dances. All of those. Salsa is great for expanding your creativity and it's super fun. Excited for you. How often are you dancing?
@@DanceInsanity I've always have a LOVE for Latin Dance! Never been taught professionally...just videos. I would love to have time to join dancing clubs! I'm in FL and they have a lot of Salsa Clubs.
Mikey 4LUV sweet Florida! I hear you guys have the best clubs!! Can certainly learn a ton from videos and self study for sure! Are you learning/ practicing with a partner or by yourself?
i really dont know how to dance but i love watching you both i hope to learn too..my parents are too good in ballroom dancing but why i dont get those talent 😂...anyway i keep watching you guys 😍😍😍😍...
*New subs here! I am in love with **#ChaChaDance** now since I've been listening to **#Sway** by **#PussyCatDoll**! Throw back! I love **#Salsa** + **#Bachata** + **#Merengue** + **#FoxDance** and now **#Chacha**! Luv from **#Bali**!* 💃💚
Yeah it's for a charity event, I really enjoy dancing, might even keep it up after the event just for a hobby. Been watching all your videos, I like how they aren't so serious, dancing should be fun.
@@DanceInsanity yeah I did the same charity event last year but as I had no partner to carry on dancing after the event I never got back into it until they asked me to take part again this year..... I'm doing the cha cha, the swing jive, a waltz and a line dance. I really need some new moves for the swing jive though, I only know like 5 basic moves.
I really learn alot from tthis and you both make learning process become happy and interesting. Thanks for this great vedio! And I also enjoy the music while the review 10 steps. Do you know the song title of the music? Thanks!
Good question. The time step that we do here, is similar to the rock back part of the basic, but in the time step, you don’t put the heel down when you step back. You also have the option of dancing the timestep with the feet together and change weight (right, Left) then chasse / cha cha cha to the right. 😊 A full Basic includes a check forward with the left foot.
Love it!! You guys are wonderful! I would like to know the title of the music.or song you play for this video. I really would like to follow your steps. Thank you.
@Kendall Lane 🙌🏼🤣 keep coming back to have fun with us! We like to keep it light hearted because it's easier to learn that way. What dances are you doing?
Dance Insanity We just finished doing the waltz and now we’re learning how to cha cha 💃🏻 I’m glad I found this video!! It helped me understand it way better 👍🏻😁
Hi guys. I noticed that sometimes with the New Yorker and Hand-to-Hand, the man's free arm is kept low on or near the hip, and sometimes it is extended out with the flourish in a similar way to the lady. Is there a convention on this? Does the man mirror the lady's arm movement or is it supposed to be different and distinct? Are there "rules" on this or is it purely a matter of choreography?
Hi Tanel! Good questions and you are thinking in the right way for getting good arm movement. so all of your ideas are actually possible approaches, the man can mirror the lady's arm movement - he can have different and distinct arm movements - there are "rules" on how to do arm movement (explaining that would be a pretty long a message, lol!), and it could also be a choreographically decided choice. which brings up one of the really big problems when dancers try to evolve and learn: that is - TO MANY CHOICES - and at first, its tough to apply without a structured approach. So "limitations help create structure" as a learning tool. The best way to get things is to just pick one technical idea that excites you, and master that first. In this case you could try copying something in the video simple you want to learn, and get used to it. once that is fluid and easy you can start to add another technique, and eventually keep layering things in. I hope that helps! Tytus
Hello @Klieden Lobrigas Cha Cha Cha Basic is the footwork. Closed Cha Cha Cha Basic are danced in Closed Frame (upper arms connected like the way we show it) with a partner. PE has homework?? 😉
LiWen, where did you get that skirt? I'm a beginner dancer and I have been looking all over to try and find decent ballroom practice wear. I want a simple skirt/dress without any tassels or fringe, and I just can't find anything!
yulia polyakova hello! That's from forever21. I like this particular one cos there's some shape to the bottom of the skirt and it's also stretchy!! That combo tends to be a little trickier to find. Let me know if you find something there!! 👍🏼 Are u starting social/ competitive dancing?
Hi Dance Insanity- what is the lead for the Hand to Hand? Is the follower supposed to "feel" the leader stepping back? New Yorker is easier, moving the arm forward plus the momentum of stepping in the same direction. Thanks!
@DebraP yes, follower should feel it if the leader leads it. 😉 Leader takes his connected hand with him as he rocks back. No extra "leading" needed if he keeps his arm more still. Try it out. Are u leading ?
Cha Cha Cha used to be very popular in Russia. This is probably due to the influence of the Cuban culture on the Soviet Union. How did you first encounter this dance?
Can you add the titles of music that you are using in videos? Though I love your movement tuturials, I spend too much time then looking for music to which I can practice! I have Apple music, so I should be able to find any music you might use.
Great video, everything explained in professional and funny way. I am wondering where did you find this sound from 9:12. I can't stop replay that part :d
@Szymon Majkut thank you! Glad you had fun dancing along with us. Tytus will let u know where that sound is from.. it really is funny. 🤣 Are u new to Cha Cha or been dancing for a while?
@@DanceInsanity My adventure with ballroom dance started year ago and include cha cha too. Thanks to your performance I will be polishing my technique. Thank you for these channel and videos :D
@@DanceInsanity I am very interested in differences between dances for some time and that would be great to watch movies like this about differences between international and american rumba. I also appreciate the way you of pointing out common mistakes, unfortunately I founded many of them in my moves.
@Szymon Majkut That's very good that you notice the mistakes, because you can now change them! 🙌🏼 What other dances are you interested in seeing differences for? Whereabouts do you dance?
+Aichi Sendou awesome! 😊 Glad that is helpful! Have a great time at your Cha Cha event and dance up a storm! 🙌🏼👍🏼 any thing else we can help with, let us know.
