Good instruction. But we both know if you end up tying flies for your own fishing, and sometimes others, the accumulation of materials is part of the whole experience. My room has so much in it now, I may have to move to the third bedroom! All the best, Sean.
I appreciate this video, I am a new tier myself and for some reason still struggle with this. I use first method but it doesn't go on as simple as your video. lol not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks again for the tips I really have picked up quite a bit from your videos. A fly tying friend of mine and I were discussing using wax on dubbing and he says he actually uses the original chapstick brand lip balm for his dubbing and says it works great I didn't believe him until he showed me his proccess and it worked.
When I want to do an ant, my thread keeps breaking, what could it be? And something else that is the best dubbing for use with small or medium dry flies??
