This is why you're the Godfather of wet shaving. I've been rushed lately, when I have to get ready for my doctor appointments. I did almost the same exact thing, except I used my brush, LEA Shave Soap, and my Vikings Blade Vulcan. One pass, a heavy razor, a sharp blade, and you're good to go! Thank you, Mr. Geo!

This is my go-to shave! R41 (shorter, heavier aftermarket handle) with a feather blade. I'm a one-pass shaver and this setup gets it done every time. I would love to add a Fatboy, Slim, and Blqck Beauty to the collection, but I know the R41 + Feather is peak performance. Cheers and happy shaving!

Out of topic question and suggestion, this is your last video, so you can see my comment. I have a very important topic you should cover. You can make a video about this, or you can simply reply to my comment. What about WIPING off the blades after shaving? In my country, in Europe, we have always had only one or two brands of blades. Gillete (super) platinum, or MEM platinum. On their paper blade wrapping, you can read: DO NOT WIPE THE BLADE. My father used to say that I shouldn't touch the blade with my fingers, or it would become dull, and he used his brush to remove all kinds of residual dirt (foam, hair) from the blade. What do you think about this? How to clean DE blades after use? I think we should follow directions from the wrapping, it is the recommendation of the manufacturer, and I believe my father that blades will become dull if we use our fingers to wipe the blade. He shaved every second day all his life. How do you clean your blades? It must be I have watched at least 200 of your videos, but I can't remember when I saw this topic. You simply have dirty blades, and what to do? How to clean them? The problem is even more important when you use 'dry' shaving when you don't use water, foam, and brush. When I have a beard, I just keep my throatline neat by shaving it without foam, I just make several strokes to remove the unnecessary hair on my neck. The result: I have a layer of skin on my blades, and I DON'T know how to clean it. Not with my fingers, but I don't know what to use???!! I wouldn't use the water. It is easier when you keep your blades from the water, they don't rust. If you already use a dry shave.

Hiyya Geo mate I have not seen any of your videos lately and this one is a might try shave method. I usually shave with a brush on lather (Taylors of Old Bond Street of course) and use a Feather AS-D2 with a Feather blade and use one pass then water down the residue and do a pass in the opposite direction and find this removes the best part of my rather tough bristles. I do like to wash off the excess lather with water then dry and apply Thayer's medicated witchazel and do a third pass in the opposite direction again. I do find the witchazel makes the tiny remnants of the bristles stand up and it leaves me with a really smooth shave. Unfortunately you cannot buy the medicated Thayer's anymore why I don't know but the plain one should do.

I can't say for all. But saying honestly, I can shave with one Shick cartridge for a few months. Then, I sharpen it with a pocket knife and use it again and again.....I use the SCHICK brand.
