Ruth, you make it look so easy. I’ve been fussing with these. I had someone print some papers for me. I only have an ink jet. I’m sure it my amounts of paint, too little or too much. Back to the drawing board! Hugs ❤️❤️❤️
One thing I did when I first started experimenting with these is to put a drawing or doodle on a sheet of paper and stick it under the gel plate. Then I would do test sheets inking up the plate and pulling ink off 1/2 of the plate. I would make note of how clearly I could see the under image on either end, pull the transfer and see which end worked better. It took a few of these tests to get used to seeing how much ink works for what. I almost gave up myself but I got there.
