It’s great that I know I can watch one of your videos and not hear cussing or see bad thangs. I commend you for keeping your channel family friendly GOD BLESS thank you Amen
Whitetail Habitat Solutions it’s important to me to knowing I can let my 8 year old nephew watch your videos and I don’t have to worry bout him hearing a lot of bad talking. Thank you GOD BLESS.
Man I really appreciate that! You have no idea how much I love trying to just deliver what I have learned, work by and live by along the way, when it comes to whitetails. I hope it helps!
Appreciate the simplification! The cold front strategy hasn't worked for me this year. The moon was full on one of those fronts and I assumed it had something to do with it. Made the mistake of being in that area for 3 hunts in 4 days. Limited hunting opportunities will do that I guess. I'll take this info and see how it pans out. You're the man Jeff!
Thank you Brian, good luck!! We had some outstanding hunts the last two nights...I'm actually taking a morning sit in a remote transition area in the morning, can't wait! Good luck Brian!
I surmised that the full moon may make them bed early and eat late morning. So I watched this video and thank you for validating my theory. Young to deer hunting, always been turkey slaughterer

Is that an arrow hole on the hollow spot on the split g2 buck at 4:07 to 4:13? I've hit one there and got pics of the deer after and it looks awfully similar.
Also as far as video goes I agree weather patterns over moon phase. Saw a mature shooter hit list buck last night walk right by one of my stands last night .. same wind tonight just a couple degrees warmer 45 to 49 .. what do you think are the odds of I sit there tonight he does the same thing? Trying to decide whether or not to move in or stay patient? Any advice be helpful thanks for all you do.
Man I would really try a sit if you think it's safe and you aren't going to spook him! We a saw a buck my wife really want to shoot last night...same thing. We are going about 150 yards to the side, within his same pattern. Hoping he does the same thing! I'd try it tho...good luck! BTW...incredible deer hunt tonight!
I've been after this big nocturnal buck since August 31st this year I'm only caught him in the day one time and that was after 2 inch snow storm and then he went nocturnal again and then today the temperature dropped almost 20 degrees and the winds were unbelievable I thought that would bring him out today but he did not show. I guess my question is how do hard winds affect the deer?
Winds effect deer greatly! Also conaider that he probably isn't nocturnal...he is just coming from at least a 1/2 mile away or more. His core area is a ways away, that is. I hope that helps!
I think u would have saw him if it wouldn't have been for the wind! u said when u saw him during the day after a snow! my best advice is get out there before the next weather front rain or snow, or after the next front, 1 of the biggest bucks I ever got it started snowing at 2 pm and lasted for maybe 30 minutes right after the snow I did a doe beet filled by some buck grunts and a big 8 pt jumped the fence besides he had been shot by a slug already! right after a snow I think big deer always move just pick the right spot and don't be on the edge be back in the cover off the edge cuz those mature bucks won't get to the field until dark at least where I hunt good luck to u hope u get him
@@johnwilkening5262 thanks for the advice I got out there the next night and about 25 does came in but none of the bucks... it's only a matter of time until I get a chance I just hope I don't fumble! But with the right rapidly approaching it won't be long... But thanks for taking the time to reply I appreciate all the help I can get thanks guys
@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 deer behavior is different in flat land compared to the Mt Eastern KY I've be hunting for the past 30 years and if it's real windy the deer don't move far same with the cow herds we don't get straight line wind here
@@lightsout7034 I love high winds because I find deer around here with the hills move to the lee sides of the ridges...we shoot a lot that way, as they move off the tops. However most of my clients are in flat land. What I've found scouting whitetails in 25 states for clients is that the same concepts for whitetails apply everywhere. However the balance if the concepts...how far deer moved in a given day, the distance between buck and doe bedding and food, how negative deer relate to hunters, how thick of cover deer bed in and what type of bedding habitat they prefer...it's all the same, just a huge amount of balance of distance and size needs to be applied. For example deer follow the same concepts in northern wilderness areas...just a much larger scale compared to northern flat land Ohio. I've studied whitetails in 25 states and counting...roughly 800 clients on 8 to 4500 acres. Amazing how much whitetails are the same everywhere...once you begin to understand the scale of balance that needs to be applied everywhere.

If your busy with work ,kids etc.and have limited times to hunt...Do yourself a favor and ignore the moon completely when making your plans...It's hocus pocus .
You must have watched the video ☺️ Good synopsis! In fact I would go one step further and even if you aren't busy...ignore it, other than to know if you need a flashlight to get to your stand or not
