Mike here. You gave me an ax sometime back. I lost my left leg and am wheelchair bound but I really wanted to split wood. You helped me out, brother, and gave me an ax. I have lost 80 pounds in great part because of you, brother. You are one of the greatest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Thank you, brother, you helped save my life. And happy fathers Day to you, my friend. I love ya brother.
@BuckinBillyRaySmith no rest for the wicked this time of year good thing I got most of the wood up last winter if you can make it to new Hampshire I got a tuna trip for you!!!

Loved the words at the start I was raised by my mum single with 3 kids in the Australian outback amazing work she did for us didn’t have much to do with my father until my early teens I was angry at him for years but he helped me out a lot so we talk now we may not get along the best as we are very much alike but we respect each other and without saying it we know we have love for each other
WORDS OF WISDOM. Thank you Buckin for your being you I could not imagine a world without you brother. That what you are to me. I have to tell ya I appreciate so much knowing you. I turned on the tube watched the axe Man logging program and thay featured Buckin Billy Ray from Vancouver Island Canada 🍁 , So cool to see you and your son fellin and cutting cedar. I think up to yellow point. I will tell ya that was so cool. Happy Father's day Buckin be safe. Yes the Father's day thing is huge. I can't say this what the words are tuff. Just know the Inspiration, Kindness, Positive attitude you project is a tremendous blessing to me and I am sure all. Love you Brother.
You are a good man Buckin. To have the relationship with your dad with all the mistakes he made is wonderful. That is forgiveness at a spiritual level few can reach. I have known father and sons that go to the grave harboring that hatred to the bitter end. Blessings to you for sharing this very personal subject. 🙏♥️😞
At first I was skeptical that the chipping method on the angle cuts would do anything to make it look like a natural snap, but man, that sure does look good! Nice work Buckin.
Happy Father's Day to one of the most inspirational Father's ever on this earth you have WINGS! Thank you Buckin for helping many no matter what you are going thru...❤ You children are blessed to have you as a Dad!
Man you really are an inspiration bucking. My dad was absent and I recently became a FATHER myself and took that "opportunity" to break the cycle and lose that anger towards my dad and put that energy towards being the best father I can be to my twin girls. Feels like you are talking to ME and know what i needed to hear lol. I just bought me a treerex saddle, echo 355t, husky 372xp,gecko aluminum spurs, all my climb and rigging gear and starting my own tree service as we speak. Twin Hickory Tree service! You were and are an inspiration and a driving force giving me the confidence and courage to make that leap. Your vibrations and speeches really make a difference to people man I truly appreciate you sharing your knowledge of the trees and just general life lessons. Thanks buckin
Simple, practical, common sense work; that’s what I like about you BBR-you spare us all the bs. Perhaps climbing around in a broadleaf tree would warrant the use of a tree surgeons tool kit but basic pruning and climbing conifers doesn’t require a ton of equipment-this you’ve so clearly shown us. Thanks for keeping it real.
You the bucking man! Eating my breakfast sandwich watching on my way to a different county for some good ole road clearing (tree work) . We a family! Let's get this money Billy Boy!!!! I love flying the bucket
you are absoutley right.I was glad to bury the hachet with my dad at the end. we were able to tell each other we love each other thanks billy that was great!
I'm a little bit older than Buckin, 14 years to be exact but he is a strong father figure to me. Hard worker/ honest/ funny ( fun filled) Kind/ empathetic/ etc. etc. etc. My dad came back from the WWll and drank booze and only stopped when he was sick ( not that often) drank til his dying day at 91. Had no skills except talking, complaining about politics, commenting on boxing and football. Inconsiderate at times to a wonderful wife that came from Germany. But he was kind most of the time. That is what made me love him. His father that lived with us for a few years was not kind, drank more and was miserable. I did a happy dance when he died. But i cried my eyes out when my dad died 15 years ago. And I'm still crying 4 years later after my my mom died. Crying will clean the dust from your eyes and help eliminate mucus from your nostrils and can help get over the hump of severe depression. (Sometimes) Buckin Billy Ray your words go beyond the simplicity of tree work, your philosophy is the rocket science of love. Thank you for exposing me and others to a positive outlook for life. ✅⏳🐦🌲🌞📜🎶
My father never acted like a dad, lucky for me my grandparents stepped up & took me in, Best “Dad” ANYONE could ask for, I’m so proud of that man, I wish my grandparents were still alive just to see them 1 more time
Buckin this is a great video brother. I had some really bad luck with a power line crew last week gaffing into small 3-4" cherries - you are right. Your stump IS YOUR SIGNATURE
For us it's the coconuts. All the coconuts have to come down once you get the kids involved. From 60 feet up, they are like bowling balls dropping on your head. Absolutely lethal.
I have to ask. I got a couple of responses to my questions about porting in a previous video. But my question is, if porting is so great, why don't saws come like that out of the factory?
Its a lottle easier to do when you're not pressed for time and trying to get as many trees done as possible because your family needs to eat. But good job 👍🏻
Anger is an emotion, emotion clouds judgement, learn to put emotion aside to get the job done then deal with the emotion. I learned how to climb a pole with telephone pole gaffs. Climbing a tree is a different animal.
