no more personality in kata... just "technique" and it´s not even technique it´s some ballet...each little essence of karate is lost.. it´s not goju ryu style karate.. it´s not shito ryu karate... it´s not even karate... it´s just a Diaz karate performance and everyone wants to do the same lost thing.. it´s so pity that all of this wonderful karate will be lost one day because of this competition.. once it was a death bringing art now it´s a point bringing nonsense.. all what is important now, is if your lil toe looks straight to the referee (who hasn´t even a clue of the style), how loud u fake breathing and how u good you hide the claping on your gi.... and the worst thing is that so much people think that this is karate...

Appreciate it for what it is and spare everyone the martyrdom, like it's such a huge tragedy that the world kata champion doesn't live up to your high standards.It's not "real karate," like the kind you practice in your dojo with like...what? 5-6 other people? Why don't you show everyone how to do kata, grandmaster? Show us poor lost souls the wonders and the "personality" of your "real" karate!
