FWIW I found for circles, if the plastic card is thin enough, you can use a fingernail cutter. The cutting part has a curve to it and makes short work of cutting out circles.

It's a good tutorial, but the obvious thing you're missing is a cutting mat. It would make that styrene a lot easier to cut than it is on a plastic desktop.

Wow. I think I have always been ahead of this... started off with paper and Elmers. If you can do that, then you have more than enough skill when you get to styrene.

Hi there, loved the video. I am a beginer at scratch building so it was very useful, what is the white sheet material you used to make the box ?
@Section8Hobbies
@Section8Hobbies 7 лет назад
It is Evergreen sheet styrene. It comes in a myriad of shapes and thicknesses: section8hobbies.com/Evergreen-Scale

It's Five AM, I just dozed off, auto-play was turned on, and your voice came blaring out of my headphones. That was startling...but good video.

Sorry to take so long getting back to you. We've been very busy and have had little time to manage our youtube channel. We sell these in-store. Please give us a call at 716-824-1049. Our site (www.section8hobbies.com) is up and running, but we haven't gotten these particular saws on it as of this morning,
