Ive suffered from cervical disc problems for 10 years now, it gets better and worse at times. Thank you so much for your videos, i wish i found these long ago
I recently found out I have L2-L3 leftward protrusion with mass effect on the nerve root, and L5-S1 “severe bilateral foraminal stenosis with potential mass effect on the L5 nerve root.” I found this video when trying to understand what’s going on with me. I am not disappointed at all! This video has been more informative than any other I’ve seen so far, and I’ve seen dozens! Thank you for this!
What I can do went a doctor doing a bad surgery replaced L-4 and L-5 with spacers and he tall me if I remove or get an other surgery I die that’s true or not
Mayo Clinic experts in Neurology told me there is nothing else to do because of the deterioration of my spine. Now they recommend in Mexico an internal pump. Tradol and tylex CD are giving me bad second symptoms.
Good day Dr. Shim. Guess I have watched almost all of your videos for I was diagnosed for having a bilateral herniated disc on L4 L5. The pain was terrible from my buttocks down to my foot, both on my left and right. Just want to ask your opinion if I decided to go for surgery, which doctor is suitable or better to do the operation, is it my neurosurgeon, orthosurgeon or the spine surgeon? Thanks in advance for your valuable hel0/advise. God bless! Ronnie - Philippines
Go to a reputable surgeon, and decide if you trust the opinion. If you do, then stay with that surgeon. That is the best approach. Neurosurgeons and orthopaedic spine surgeons deal with these conditions all the time. It is about your comfort with that surgeon. If you have confidence in the surgeon, it matters.
@@ShimSpineVideos Thank you for sharing. I would like to use these to teach medical coders and the visuals of facet nerves is limited or not well illustrated. I will definitely check them out
