this was useful as a basic introduction video, but it should be updated to the new OS. It will also be useful to make an equivalent training using the Web dashboard. I know it is mostly the same, but for most people the Inverter is tucked away somewhere in the loft or garage or somewhere else and will not use the Inverter for adjusting settings, but would rather use the web interface. Also, I can't even begin to imagine why in 2021 when this video was made/uploaded someone would even start cnsidering making a video in 360p. Come on Sunsynk. enter the 21st century and start creating training videos that are in HD and are up to date with the current software version.

If you where in South Africa in 2021, you should see what is happening lately, we are up to stage 6 loud shedding, witch means 4 hours without power, then 2 hours on and then 6 hours off again. It is an absolute joke, and the corruption is thriving. Anyway, you are probably familiar with a SA company, called Blue Nova? I purchased my CPS5000 yesterday. It is a Sunsynk 5KVa with a Blue Nova 5.2KWH DU battery. I cannot wait to get this installed. The switches is pre wired, so I will be doing the installation myself, and pay an Electrician to issue a Certificate of Compliance. I don't foresee any issues, as I have already one other Sunsynk 5Kva at my brothers house, late last year. Anyway, keep up the good work, and thanks.
Reference your comment about your showroom being far from the building meter. Surely if your feed is dedicated to your showroom and you have your own consumer unit/distribution board (maybe even with a sub meter) you can treat your area as an individual system? On that basis you can fit the CT to the feeder cable conductor going into your consumer unit at your end? After all you have no control over the cabling arrangements of the supply authority from the substation until they enter your building. This might be a few metres or it might be hundreds of metres.
I would prefer wired CT coil with some kind of booster than wireless. Too many wireless things is bad news. So far i have no wireless devices at all. Hoping I can hardwire the comms of the inverter to router when I get it installed
Are you sure you have it the right way round about the C rating? Surely C5 of 100Ah means discharging over 5 hours so about 20A C0.5 would be flattening the battery in half an hour so a huge current.
I understand the difference between the load and grid outputs. Load = UPS output, hence if grid supply fails, this output is still active. Grid output wil, however, fail when grid supply fails. My question: I'm wondering with the inverter supplying power from solar array and/or turbine (sun is shining or wind blowing), does it only feed into the Load output (eg UPS output) or also to the Grid output. If it feeds both outputs, is there some sort of power distribution between the two outputs? I will not export (sell) any power back into the grid (CT coil installed).
As far as i know SunSink is Deye with different OS. If "Zero export to grid" function is active, it will supply whole output to Home load in case grid fail. Correct me if i am wrong.
So I've installed a sunsynk 3.6kw system with one battery and 10 panels on totally offgrid no mains at all but I've connected the small db to the load output of the inverter should I be connecting my load to the grid terminals or leaving it as is and I've connected the ct coil to the dB load live at small db
nice info, so how hoes the non ess load work if you enable it for a geyser, will it push it back from the grid input or does this need to be wired from the gen port. here in SA we cant feed back to the grid so id like to use the excess power for the geyser. im also looking at 2x 5kva or just 1 8kva my load demand isnt that big so either will work with 2 volta batteries and 10 or 12x 555w panels prob dont need that much

Watched up to 6 min or so... So what you're saying is that I can scrap both brand new sunsynk inverters for OFF-Grid use. Being a electronics hardware engineer myself, I find your product over complicated and very hard to understand. So wished I could have talked to someone on a real phone before trashing your inverter. may it RIP(ieces)
I fully understand the batteries and solar panels😁. But a lack of product knowlegde from the dealer and no support for this product made me dig a hole and bury it. (It is being chewed by termites lol) I went for 15kW of cheap other brand and it works 100% with 3 x pylontech(UPS500) batteries and 24 x 420W panels.
@@chillipaste2183 You probably understand it wrongly as i did also :) So this is deye in fact and all info apply for deye and sunsink. It goes like this: These inverters have two outputs and diesel generator input! What is even better you can change diesel generator input into smart load output, okay :) Now lets get back to two common inverter output which are: Grid-line output and backup-line output! Now, this is important! Both common inverter outputs will give you full load as per specs. In egsample i have DEYE SUN 6-K inverter which is rated at 6kwh of output and i will get that number from both grid and backup (ups) connection. So inverter is supplying as it is advertised, okay? Now, what is the difference between these two outputs? The main difference between two is that you cant overload grid-line output if it is connected to grid because the difference will be injected from grid! But if you overload backup-line (ups), inverter will cut-off which is simply logical and normal. Reason you dont have battery backup feed on grid-line output in case grid failure is simply anti islanding protection if you are connected to grid. But you can freely use backup-line as pure off grid system. Its that easy. I was confused as you but all is simply explanatory and i will tell you this: This is by far one of the most versatile and feature full powerful inverter, period! Hope it helps.
