Wouldn't you consider making content on RU-vid related to your language learning journey and especially your Turkish learning adventure? Because I read your channel description and according to my observation, people whose native languages are Dutch languages, I mean Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaans etc., are very interested in Turkish when they come across it seriously and they start learning it even just by ear. That's why I'm curious about your experiences on this subject, and I think this poor person is not the only one. In addition, I take great honor and pleasure to help with Turkish or any other issue that I can help with.

Turkish is type of a language that you don't need specific ways to pronounce words, they are as readable as how they're written so it's actually way easier than expected! The only things makes it seem hard is that how limitless you are able to add suffixes on words and of course, how rich is the language in general.

I love the sound of the language but unfortunately when I watch the Turkish serials or movies I don't understand what's being said! They speak very quickly and trying to read the English subtitles, we miss a lot from what's going on really! I am getting more words or phrases but by the time you raise your eyes from the subtitles, that particular scene is gone! What a pity! :(
@damatorama
@damatorama 3 года назад
@Hilal Ayar yes I agree with you perfectly. Sometimes the English subtitles have very poor grammar, but for us that don't understand the Turkish language, will have to make do with them. As I said before, we miss a lot from the movie or series, which I have to admit I'm getting very fond of! Also getting to love the Turkish actors, both males and females! 👍

Her dilde sokak ağzı konuşmaları farklıdır Günlük hayatta kime böyle robot gibi konuşmaz ..işte bu yüzden herhangi bir dili gramer üzreinden öğrendiğimizde...o dili konuşan yerli halkı anlayamıyoruz çünkü halk arasındaki konuşma tarzı ilke senin gramer ilke öğrendiğin tarz tamamen farklıdır.

Başlıkta beginner yazıyor?
@ekinersoy3002
@ekinersoy3002 Год назад

I am noticed that Turkish use less word than English. Are they use verb and object mix and the only problem is that pronounciation is hard.

It's agglutinative. That's why an English sentence can be just a one word in Turkish. Turkish uses less word but bigger, longer words :D

Any thoughts…I’ve previously learned Cantonese to intermediate level, Spanish and survival French, German and Italian. But I am finding Turkish almost impossible to learn. Partly I think I am distracted by the written form and reliant on it so using conversations like this and not reading. But why is it so hard for English speakers?!
@VolkanTopcu-nf7cv
@VolkanTopcu-nf7cv 4 месяца назад
English and Turkish have very different grammatical structures. Additionally, Turkish is an agglutinative language, which is why you are having difficulty. For this reason, Turks find it challenging to learn English.

Hello. I am Hamed from Iran and Persia. There are 41 million Azeri Turks living in Iran, and I learned Turkish when I was 4 years old, because our neighbors were all Azeri Turks. Azeri Turkish and Istanbul Turkish are very similar and I understand Istanbul Turkish very well and I have no problem. Of course, I also speak Arabic well, because 20% of the population of our city are Arabs. I am fluent in English, German and several other languages. Wishing good health to the kind people of Turkey. Thankful
