I truly wonder sometimes if we only ate the things God allows to grow and not the processed stuff we inhale daily if our ailments wouldn’t go completely away!? The Bible says let thy food be thy medicine so it has to be significant to the sicknesses we all have now a days. Definitely worth diving in and studying for sure. ❤Leslie Alabama

Hi Mary. I hope you are feeling close to normal after that terrible virus ran you and hubby down and out. Thank You for showing us how to make unleavened bread. It's something I've been wanting to try for a long time, it's just I haven't found anyone here on YT where I enjoyed watching and listening to lol, until you. I will try this. May our Father continue to keep you and your home blessed. Oh, almost forgot to ask, would you consider teaching us how to season a cast iron skillet? Please and Thank you for considering.

Down here in Alabama we’ve ate these type breads allour lives and we call them “Flitters”they’re just the flour or corn meal water and the oil to cook them in. My daddy God rest his soul loved them with butter spread on them. Leslie Alabama

Flitter?! I've never heard anyone else say "flitter" besides my immediate family! So often people correct me and ask if I mean "fritter." Nope. Flitter! We grew up eating flitters for breakfast and snacks here in southeastern NC. Mama made them from self-rising flour and water, then fried them in a little of whatever meat drippings she had on hand. Delicious! I still make them sometimes. My husband loves them buttered, too!

Greetings from a new subscriber to your channel! Thanks for what you share! I have been watching your videos via Roku so haven't had a chance to subscribe. This video inspired me to pull out the laptop and log on so I can get a copy of the recipe and say 'hi' and 'thanks' as well as push the subscribe button all at the same time! God bless you!

Will definitely try this. Sounds good to go with soup. I don’t have Spelt, yet, would Hard White/Red or Einkorn work? Thank you. Glad to see you feeling better. Easy does it. ❤😊

I am really enjoying walking this "grain" journey with others like you who are passionate about it also. I've used this type of recipe for Passover but they are a good addition year-round. Glad you are feeling better. Could you please tell me which book it was you purchased from The Biblical Nutritionist? Thank you so much!

Mary do you have any idea what manna was in the Bible? It fell from Heaven in the days of Moses and the wilderness I just wondered what it could have been. I haven’t found out yet by reading scriptures. 🙏🏼Thanks Leslie-Alabama
@TheRoseHomestead
@TheRoseHomestead 5 месяцев назад
I'm not sure exactly what manna was but from what I've read it was a sweet bread that tasted like honey.

Unleavened is the only bread,,where would one get yeast anyway in wilderness life?
@TheRoseHomestead
@TheRoseHomestead Месяц назад
The bible speaks of yeast. From my understanding they made a soured dough. Meaning they allowed flour and water to ferment and that would become the lump they would pull from to raise their bread. The bible says a little leaven leavens the whole lump. This is what I've learned from my research anyway.
@2000dns

I'll comment on things I see good or incorrect. My friend, bread never saved anyone's soul, however, it is disgraceful to eat or even possess leavened bread or even yeast or baking soda/powder during the feast of Passover (14th through 21st days after spring equinox). Read Exodus again, there is why the unleveled bread reason.🕊️✝️🕎🕯️🙏🏼
