I had to come back and leave a comment. I just got feedback from my client and she absolutely loved the cake. I filled it with chocolate pastry cream. She said it was a huge success.. Definitely going to keep using this recipe.. It's a game changer.. Going to start offering fruit and cream filled Asian style cakes with it 😁😁
This is the best ever cake recipe I’ve ever found on the internet. It came out perfectly well for me with absolutely no defects! Evenly cooked, spongy texture, flat top. My husband couldn’t get enough it!

Made a half batch in muffin tins to try yesterday - perfect texture, so fluffy!It’s the sponge cake texture I’ve always strived for but never achieved until now. And it tastes so good for not having any butter in it. I used a teaspoon of vanilla paste to remove any egginess and it wasn’t too sweet. Thank you!

I made this today. Turned out great! It makes a big difference when egg yolk and whites are separated and whisked separately. Thank you for your recipe! I also made the one with oil and milk. That turned out great too.
Also. When you separately beat egg white and yolk (egg white beat with sugar--like merengue), there's more air in the cake batter, so the cake comes out fluffier. That's my experience anyway. Good luck!
Yesterday, i made a birthday cake for my sis with this recipe. This is the best sponge cake recipe that i ever tried . At first, i was worried to baked with no milk and oil but it came out with great texture and taste. Really thanks for your recipe and i will try to make your other recipes.

Guys checking the comment section for review...must tell a perfect cake recipe you can have it with whipping cream and also without cream. It just melts in your mouth. A no fail recipe and yes a quick one too but i advice people to use 7 or 6 inch baking pan for a cake with a bit hight rest is just awesome👍thank you mam for such a recipe
@@dasaspurthi4663 oil butter is barely used in sponge cakes, because adding oil makes the batter heavy which doesn’t allow the cake to become fluffy and spongy. And we use sugar syrup between layers before icing every layer.

@@aliceyohannan3215 that's why sponge cake. They need to be light and fluffy not Kind of Dense like the regular Vanilla cakes. Adding oil makes it a bit heavy but honestly I think you can add like two tablespoon of Oil to this

Gayunpaman, salamat po dahil sulit sa ingredients itong cake at masarap din kahit walang gatas.

You don't need a specific size of bowl it depends if ur making huge cake mix use bigger bowl if ur usin small cake mix go for just ordinary bowl but ofcourse not dessert bowl

So for everyone wondering about the butter/oil cuz I was concerned about this also So the cake does come out super fluffy following this recipe however it is on the dry side abit on the bread texture im ganna attempt this same recipe but add alittle butter and see if it makes any difference. However the recipe is amazing thank you for teaching us!
I made this today, and actually I was so scared because all my experiences with sponge cake aren't good at all 😂😂 but this.. turned out more than awesome!! Very very fluffy, it smells good, and it also has that beautiful yellow colour! ❤❤ but the only thing I hated a bit.. is that it's so small 😬💔 so can you please give us a specific ingredients for a one that's bigger? ❤
