Thanks for the video. Apparently some people can still cut to the chase and make a valid point on the basics of bandsaw boxes and do it in under 6 minutes.
If it is possible, dont use a spindle sander. a benchtop belt sander or disc sander have flat surfaces, which are better than a spindle sander that creates little valleys if your not careful. spindle sanders should be used for interior curves
Sorry Max, I meant a use not a program. I was thinking of the body construction of small semi-acoustic instruments, without all the kerfing and struts! Lazy luthiery!
You can do it both ways. I have been making these (not this design) for a little while now and have come to the conclusion that there is not always a need for a back... depends on the box, some work fine both ways, some only one way.
@@joh22293 no back, eh? interesting concept. after years of making them, I don't think I have ever made one without a back so the drawers don't push through.
