You are a great communicator & I wish the algorithm showed more people this video. What takes others over an hour was explained within 5 minutes by you. I have shared this as an example.
Really good video and thank you for posting this. I need to add few points here. same thing will happen if you select 250 and indicator showing FROM flag but aircraft nose points towards 070. in other words , if actual aircraft moves to the left from the centre line the course deviation also moves to left. also the course deviation looks ok if u select 070 ( with FROM flag ) but aircraft nose points the opposite way. to avoid this, use a dot instead of a aircraft symbol and then put arrow towards the direction of the selected course to get the reference direction. this way there is no conflict with the deviation pointer. hope this is not too confusing...
OK, I"m slow. What screwed me up is, somehow I got the radials from the tower, mixed up with the direction I'm flying the airplane. Don't ask me why, like I said, I'm a bit slow.
