amazing childhood of a god-realized master,
In 1985 Guruji was seven years old. At that time Guruji's name was Visham. His room in Rose-Hill was blue in color and everywhere in his room, there were pictures of deities: Kali, Durga, Ganesha, Shiva, Krishna, and Hanuman. Childhood of a realized master, Early childhood of a true guru, Basis of spirituality with a satguru, A god realized master remembers, True spirituality with a true Guru, amazing childhood of a god-realized master, inspirational childhood of a true master, awake bhakti and become realized, Guruji threw many things in the fire, Guruji always directed the games, everywhere pictures of deities,
His cousin Ravi remembers, “When Guruji was seven years old, he would wake up at the same time as his grandma and then pick flowers to offer to Hanuman. Then grandma would do a puja for Hanuman and the Sun God Surya. Every morning before going to school, Guruji would take an incense stick and go to the catholic church of Sainte Anne, situated 200 meters from His home. He would pray in front of the statue of Mother Mary, offer incense to Her, and do a parikrama around the church. He is the second son of Shiva and Parvati. Guruji would regularly sit in these temples and pray to the deities.” His parents would only go to the Kali temple when there was a feast day or a special occasion in the family.
little Guruji does his daily puja, To do his daily puja, little Guruji would take fruits from the garden as prasad: bananas, mangos, papaya, or guava and offer it to the deities in his small temple. Then he would get in trouble because the parents were looking for these fruits. Guruji was doing all these venerations of his own free will. His love for God was already there.
His mother says, “When Visham was seven years old, one day He played that He was Krishna. He dressed in a small pink dress and told me, 'Krishna was putting black kajal around his eyes.” He put on a chunri, a shawl, and lots of jewelry. He liked Krishna very much. He danced around the house with His sister, Tina, as if she was one of the Gopis of Krishna.”
His mother continues, “During Visham’s youth, I thought that He was only naughty; I did not realize how special he was and that everything He did was special, even the naughty things. He prayed all the time. In those early years, I was wondering where Visham learned all the mantras and prayers that He was chanting all the time.
Small child chanting mantras. It seemed strange to me and everyone else that such a small child was praying and chanting mantras continuously. However, everyone genuinely seemed moved by a little child doing all the prayers and pujas. I asked him, “How much can you pray? You are always praying; stop praying now!” Visham seemed frightened of me shouting at Him to stop praying, but he never stopped praying. I was against His religious tendencies perhaps because I was not religious, I don’t know, said the mother. I would shout at Him, “Stop the puja.” And He would answer: “But this is only a prayer.”
Child making murtis out of clay, Guruji took delight in making murtis out of clay and then painting them with great love and care. young teenager visits the Shirdi Baba temple, As a young teenager, He often loved visiting the Shirdi Baba temple in Cure-pipe, always offering a coconut, incense sticks and flowers as prasad. Unlike other youth of his age, He always preferred to keep Himself busy by singing bhajans. From early childhood, His love for God was always expressing itself.
Babaji appearance after the dentist,
a Shiva Lingam out of clay, Each year he used to make a Shiva Lingham for Shivaratri, the feast night of Shiva, out of clay. He would then dry it in the sun. Afterwards he would paint it with watercolor. He would then do an abishekam with it pouring water on it and pray in front of it.
During the summer of 1985, His cousin Ravi came from London and they were watching 30-minutes episodes of the series of Ramayana which was on TV. All the family was watching and Guruji would love it. Grandma would sit with folded hands in front of the TV during the whole episode and Guruji would do the same.
Afterwards Guruji and Ravi would reenact the whole episode and the stories of the Ramayana. Guruji would play Rama, Ravi was Lakshman and Guruji's sister would play Sita. To play the fight of Rama with the demons and have it more realistic, they needed some special effects like on TV.
As one of his aunties had a shop in the city, they would go shopping there to buy firecrackers. They spent the whole summer like that: playing the Ramayana with firecrackers bound to their arrows and shooting them in order to kill the demons.
