The ball does not seem to be dribbled as well and looks a little flat. Plus in Olympics in 1936 they played basketball outdoors on a muddy court.

@crashstitches79
@crashstitches79 6 лет назад
It damn sure wouldn't be 50 jump balls if that was the rule. The scoring would plummet, and the players would look different because the game would be a lot rougher and the strategies would be different.

@@ratedpending the first NBA game I saw was Boston v Philly the year Bob Cousy retired 1964. I was six years going on seven, my Dad was an educator so I was a little ahead of the game and would watch baseball regularly but my Dad ran the concession stand at the b-ball tournament, so I was familiar with b-ball and was blown away with the Bill Russell v Wilt Chamberlain rivalry. They did not the disappoint. The uptempo pace they played with was off the charts. College didn't have a shot clock so they would regularly stall the ball, that's why Wilt Chamberlain left college early they were stalling the ball so bad.
@ratedpending
@ratedpending 2 года назад
@@aarondigby9859 Bill Russell is underrated, I think if you have him born in the 90s and growing up with more modern training and medicine, his playstyle would have him be even better. Playmaking big who can run the floor, play elite defense, and crash the boards? That type of guy is perfect for a 2022 NBA team.

Actually the First super star professinal basketball player was George Mikan. Played from 1946 to 1956. averaged 22 ish points per game, 13 rebounds and 2.8 assists. Led the NBA in scoring 3 times and it was 3 seasons in a row and rebounding 2 times. In the 1950-1951 season there was Black players. He out rebounded and scored them.
