Great video man, getting an indoor court here is such a blessing, I'd reccomend to just join a local team if they run like 1-2 hour training sessions just to hoop consistently, usually costs like £3-4. Looking forward to basketball getting bigger over here.

For the love of the game people always question why people play basketball this video shows why it’s an amazing sport I play at that court in the video sometimes but mainly on the one at Alexander Road if people aren’t playing football on it can’t wait for basketball to blow in the UK

Down in Bournemouth there's a social court in the gardens by the beach and i started learning there 4 months ago, always regulars that go down there and i recognise and shake hands with like 10 people before even starting games. So lucky to find a place like that and made really good mates who have seen my progress and helped me out. There is the older guys who live by the court and keep it maintained. Rim gets torn down they replace, nets that are ripped get replaced, hooks on inside of the rim get taped over. Love this sport needs more recognition here in UK 100%. I feel so lucky:)

Hey, nice video man and super relatable too! :)) From my experience of playing basketball here over the years is that it can be challenging for most people in the UK to play basketball, some fellas get lucky and have access to an indoor court whereas some fellas are only limited to outdoor courts and have to share the space with people playing football etc. Sometimes from my perspective at least it can feel like the system here is setup in a way that disadvantages basketball players (At the gym I use we have to leave 5 mins earlier than the allotted time since they have to set up the badminton lol) but I think its that experience that makes UK basketball sorta unique in a way. It is nice to that there the sport is gaining some popularity here when I first started as a kid back in the 2000s it was pretty much unheard of lol. Sorry for the rant lol it was really nice to see a rare video on the experience of basketball in the UK
