There's a very important tip in this video that's easy to miss at 1:19. What he's saying is, don't put your body around the ball, put the ball around your body. If you're trying to move wherever you want on the court, you will be better if you can focus on going where you want to go and putting the ball around your body. If you put your body around the ball, now you have to dance around the ball as you are trying to move from point A to point B on the court, and it will be easier for your defender to keep up with you
Guys, the "no dunking" mark on the backboard just meant that he's not allowed to hold on to the rim, because it's probably one of the old model backboards that break under high pressure. Also, he didn't even touch the rim. He just smashed the ball in the basket and moved his arms away from it after.
Thankz Paul George ! All these times , I was asking for help to my father and playmates on how to dribble because I am so tall but many people won't give me the ball because I do not know how to dribble. The guard that is going for me can easily get the basketball from and they took that as an advantage. Now , no one shall have that courage to get that basketball from me cause I already know how to dribble properly. Thank you once again. 😂😂😂
NICE! The fingertip tip works! Also thanks for the tip of dribbling low, now i can really crossover. My problem with crossover was because I wasn't dribbling low enough.
Thankyou @Paul George For taking the this opportunity to share your tips on how to dribble a basketball better From the tips I believe I will up my dribbles Spin move is also my fav🤝👊 Thanks
Paul Clifton Anthony George Jr, you are my KING, my SAVIOR, and most importantly my CRUSH. I could not live without you king. How the time flies.. You are now 34!!! I remember how you were presenting your smoothness and cuteness in indy 14 years ago, i remember how u had the most gruesome injury ever, breaking ur whole leg in half, i remember how u came back from that injury better than ever and got traded to okc, where you had your best season ever finishing 3rd in mvp and 3rd in dpoy in 2019, i remember when dame hit a lucky shot and sent you to my faviorite team the LA Clippers. You have had a great 14year old career so far, sadly filled with injuries slowing you down. In those 14 years u have achieved alot, you have been an allistar 9 times, you were the steal champ in 18-1% you made the all ba team 6 times, and the all defensive team 4 times and you were the most improved player in 12-13, greatness... YOU are the best AND smoothest 2WAY PLAYER of all time. You are the definition of GREATNESS AND CUTENESS. I LOVE YOU PAUL GEORGE!!!!!!!!
@@kembaskywalker3305 well, I saw a clear dunk, but after it(since it's the rim like in time ppl were breaking them with dunking, especially with hang) he pulled his hands away to not hang and not break it
Thank you George For teaching us . i was wondering to learn basics dribbling because i sometimes make bad things happen so, learn from my mistakes . Thank you Howdini .
This was a good tutorial on the basics. I looked at some books and DVDs but they presented literally hundreds of drills, but no real explanation of the very basics. They assume you already know those and just want some drills. Now I'm searching on youtube for the fundamentals.
last time i got lessons on basket ball was when andone videos was hard to get online, downloading on slow internet, bare in mind this was 16 years ago..
i learned swimming and i got addicted, i learned running and i got addicted, i learned boxing and i got addicted, and now i'm watching the basics of bball. nah, i'm out man i can get addicted again. lol. XD
I can do all of these dribbles man, i just need to improve the dexterity on my left hand cause i usually lose the ball when i switch it over to my left.
