Kyrie Irving has the best handles in NBA history, but how did he get so good? Let's take a look. Follow Nonstop Instagram: / nonstop TikTok: / nonstop Twitter: / nonstop Imagery supplied by Getty Images
While I agree Kyrie Is a basketball magician but he's also the most overrated star ever.. Kyrie has more losses than wins without LeBron despite playing with Luka, Harden, KD and Tatum. Kyrie fans are brainwashed by his skill and flashiness but he doesn't impact the game of basketball like a Dame or Harden even til this day
That's just Kyrie bragging. But in fact every NBA ball handler had to learn to use his other side of the brain too. Socer players also learn to use both their sides of the brain in order to use both their legs for precission play.
@@robotube7361 being ambidextrous has nothing to do with your brain being unlocked, and if you wanna be technical the brain is separated into more than two sides
@@mervinvirrey4346definitely is the best hands down zero debate also probably one of the cleanest iso games and layup package as a guard this will be said after retirement most definite I mean a lot of this is starting to be said now closer to the end of his career if you ever played basketball your self this is easy to seeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee but if you haven’t and only been a viewer you know from ( television only ) but never played the game I can see how you don’t.
@@nicktru93iverson was the better players shooting at a higher efficiency but kai has deffo got a better layup and handle package. ai knows how to move but kyrie does stuff no one in the nba will and has ever done
Layups. Kyrie's layup arsenal is unmatched. I love how he learned ways to twist and spin the ball to get into the basket because of the missing pieces on the backboard.
Everything from the title of the video and all the explanations of Kyrie's abilities, training as well as shooting abilities are spot on. This is a great video and Kyrie is a basketball wizard. I have yet to someone stop Kyrie when he has it going and has his mind right. He is like A.I., Kobe and Ray Allen in one player. All time great player, he just needs to add more accolades to the many he already has than nobody can deny his place in basketball history. Amazing.
If you genuinely study how Kyrie plays, you'll see how simillar his mid range 1/2 dribble pullups coming from a triple threat jab step is to Kobe's. Specially his fadeaways. Truly a student of Kobe Only people who actually play and study basketball will notice this instead of the ones focusing on his off the court drama like what mindless drama hunting bots do
I am just amazed he can do it with his height, 6'2. Kawhi and other SG/SF who copies Jordan, Kobes moves use body to bump before they make a shot/fadeaway. Kyrie uses Jab step, head fake, dribbling skills and fast to slow phase and surely he can easily outplay you. This is the difference between Steph and Kyrie. Kyrie can always find a way to make a shot. Steph needs screens and his only bag is step back 3 pointer.
Off court issues absolutely translate to on court issues. Let's be clear on that. But that doesn't mean Kyrie doesn't make up for those issues with insane talent. I love Kyrie
@@buckisz That's bs. Kobe was known to ask ANYONE that he thought was skilled how people did certain moves. He just used the majority of MJ's game bc they both SG and obviously, because MJ is the greatest blue print for a NBA player,
@@cjcarlos if u really think about it in terms of ways to score, Melo and KD literally only do standard basketball moves that many great scorers do. step backs, pull ups, jab step pull ups, fadeaways, regular layups and dunks. KD is simply 7ft tall and 7ft long and can shoot along with those standard moves and melo has great footwork. but none of them really do combo moves, up and unders, have no variety layup packages like kyrie jordan and kobe. many players do those standard moves. kobe ky and jordan are far more innovative and creative scorers
2017 Kyrie is the most unstoppable and unfair version of his game. No one can stop him literally. The only player that can overshadow Lebron's presence on the court.
Kyrie no doubt is great, and his skills are superior, but dude should've have had a more legendary career if he just concentrated purely on the game and stayed away from drama. But, can't really blame, we are all each out own man.
@@pqt428 but he’s never been a legit first option on a contender. And with his talent he should have been. Being a career second option was not what was expected of him at the start. Dude has goat handles, close to goat finishing and shoots 50/40/90. He should have led a team to a title if not more than one by now.
@@SonnyK248why is that an indictment on his career? Steph curry and Isaiah Thomas are the only small guards to lead a team to a championship as the best player on the team. Dame, Brunson, fox, ja, trae young and others haven’t either.
I saw Kyrie play in a high school tournament and Kyrie's team, St Patricks, played a team with 3 division 1 prospects and they were good too. The other team got off to a fast start and talked some trash and Kyrie took over the game and dominated. Kyrie was slicing, dicing, and scored at will inside and outside. After watching that incredible display, everybody knew Kyrie was destined for the NBA. 💯🔥
Me and my mate in the UK have been saying Kyrie is a Wizard for many years and even managed to see him at the O2, Basketball is very rare in our country. ANyway, I just wanted to say this Thumbnail is legit
A.i's Handle+Kobe's Footwork + Allen's Shooting= Kyrie Irving but his Lay up and finishing is the best of all time you could say Kyries Lay up is incomparable💯
He was always great at these stuff. Brilliant thing is basketball is a team game and he managed to converge his magic to the team consistently. Probably final times of his career cause he will be moving away from his speed and explosiveness which are crucial for his game. But above all, as a person who admires him since his rookie year his highly grown mental maturity is the most notable thing for me. No matter how talented you are you need a certain level of maturity and other people who likes to go on a battle with you on the floor. Happy to see that he has both now. I think this is the only reason why people started talking about him so much again.
MUCH LOVE TO KYRIE. ROD STRICKLAND WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE AND HIGHLY UNDER RATED BALLERS. THE DAY I FOUND OUT STRICKLAND AND KYRIE WERE CONNECTED . THAT MADE MY DAY (NOT REALLY I MAKE MY OWN DAY) BUT THAT WAS AWESOME TO KNOW THAT TWO UNDER RATED BALLERS WERE CONNECTED.
Probably top twenty five pg but in his prime was like top five in the league in the league all time when it’s all said and done Besides his great handles with good handles to bot he is a solid shooter and probably a top fifteen clutch shooter
This makes me so happy. Kyrie is one of my favorite players to watch and i have been saying this for a while and will continue to say that 'Kyrie is the Messi' of ball, when it comes to the handling and skills. Proper magician!!
It's funny, I was thinking of Messi too, just before reading your comment. They both have extraordinary skills and turn somewhat chaotic when under high pressure - but other than most players they can push through and still come out successful. Normal people's brains can't comprehend that and that's why they appear like wizards to us.
If you want to be the best- you need to go one or more steps further than what everyone is practicing. Otherwise- you will be just average. Lots of people dont realize the insane ammount of work the best among us put to get where they are. In order for somoene to put this ammount of work and challenge themselves they simply must be doing what they love- otherwise, no matter what kind of willpower you have - you cant force yourself to do this ammount of work if you dont love what you do. So to sum up: 1. He has natural talent 2. Kyrie loves what he does 3. He works more than everyone else 4. He was ready to dedicate his life to basketball What stops others from becoming the best we are is simply not having or doing these 4 things. One can even have 1, 2 or 3 of those things, but if he misses the 4th one- he wont get anywhere.
Kyrie is the whole reason I started watching/playing basketball(2nd because of D-Wade)But the main reason I dribble is because of this man and I think everyone is like that😂
Brother Kyrie Irving is one of the greatest of all time! I love this brother and love to see him play! I hope that he can get with another team that will allow him to win another championship!
