This cover showcases two things The first is: Just how damn good Josh is. The second: This really proves how underrated of a bassist Rex Brown is. He and Vinnie made the best damn rhythm section in heavy metal, and this proves it even further. You sir, are a beast!
For real man, pantera is easily in the top 10 metal bands of all time maybe even top 5, Rex Brown and Vinnie Paul laid the groundwork for the grooviest southern metal band in existance, and I mean phils dedication and energy on vocals are unmatched, no one could make a guitar make the sounds that it did like dime as well just some of the greatest musicians on the planet in a single band no big deal
This guys bass lines adds even more balls into something that already gigantic, monstrously enormous balls. Specially the breakdown. Goddamn. A beast of a bass player. All hail Pantera, Stronger than all! RIP the Abbott brothers.
I see everyone playing these nice Spectors and all I can do is sit, watch and cry, because I couldn't save up for an instrument like that in a lifetime, it would be so great to own a nice instrument like that
Ya killed it man. Thank you. And, I've been eyeing that bass on sweetwater. I'd rather spend the $1k, than get Spector's $600 range. Plus that red and black just looks sick. And I play bass in a death metal band, so it fits right in.

Brilliant cover. Good work. Not a criticism at all: is there any chance of a demo of the bass simply DI'd direct with no backing track? The tone on here is awesome but it's difficult to tell how much is the bass and how much the amp modelling, distortion and processing. Thanks.
