You need to use the polymer knot on braid!!. It never slips!! It's the only knot I use on braid. Been fishing braid and this knot for 5 years and never had I have a bait come off. Don't use the the polymer knot on mono though. Only on braid.
Fletcher, you should try the palomar knot on braid. The improved clinch knot is fine for flourocarbon. But the palomar won’t slip on braid. I got that tip from a pro so I’m not criticizing you. Your a great angler and I love your channel. Just wanted to share that. Give it a try. I did and I haven’t had that problem since. And it’s been over 2 years
Jacob Wheeler has a palomar knot tip that he says most people don’t do and it ensures that it’s the strongest knot…..bar none. Check out his video on the palomar knot
Fletcher know your fishing experience and knowledge surpasses mine by a Shitload. But I wont use any knot on braid but a Uni or Palomar knot. For that very reason I use only braid for thick stuff I fish.
Bass fishing is there anything better and I am addicted too it I am now 14 two years ago I started my channel and I am damn proud of it and I am finally getting close too my 1 k sub goal !!!
I really don’t know anybody that uses the improved clinch knot anymore you have to step you’re knot game up especially if you’re going to be fishing stocked places you can’t be losing big fish
That was so awesome of you dude. That kid will remember that day for the rest of his life. God Bless you Fletcher. If you are ever in Kentucky please let me know. IG = ralph_c_boydjr_88n
