Went to central florida to visit my wife’s family and to my surprise they live right on a lake. Lucky me right?! I have my fishing rod in the car, so I went to the local Walmart to pick up some lures and got to work. Enjoy the video.

You're fishing in my backyard! The lake is actually the canal system at Hanover Lakes. The canals are about 150' wide and 10' deep. The neighborhood is designed to have your own boat dock. You're fishing at the boat lift that transfers our boats into Alligator Lake. By the way, I have pulled 4-5 pounders out of the canals. Whopper ploppers, worms, and chatterbait all kill it.

@@memofn3877 Approximately south end of lake there is a canal. Take Hickory Tree Rd south out of St Cloud. The road will make a big left hand turn and then you will cross over the canal. Immediately after crossing over the canal their is a gravel road to the left that parallels the canal. Take this road up about 400 yards and there is the public ramp. NOTE: There are no facilities of any sort. No water, no toilets. Nada. Zip. Zero. Just a ramp with a dock. I used this ramp 4-5 times before I bought a house with lake access.

That is a beautiful fish I wish I could do that here but I live in Canada 😂 try doing a fishing video in minus 20. That is why I cannot wait for fishing season to warm up!!
