Taking a break from work, I moved all my music stuff to a different room, very reverberant. Trying to figure out mic placement again. Still not feeling great overall but very slowly improving.
@HavocHarpa well, sir, with all my respect, I think that is a simple instrument, is more like a sword, depending on who actually welds it. I'm sure your soul is bonded to that instrument and more, its origins, because it feels very natural and also sounds traditional, is close to that parts of the North, it gives a powerful impact of an ancient past in just a few minutes or seconds. Thank you for your videos, I wish to see more and much health & love to you and your loved ones!🫡❤️🔥
For me, I just sat down and played as often as I could until it sounded good and tried to have fun in the process 🤷♂️ there are some beginner tutorial series on youtube though; look up aftenstorm
Hey Havoc. How can I contact you? I’ve been searched a tagelharpa for me. I cannot found it in my country (Chile). I would like to get it soon. Thank you!! Hugs!!
@@Cj12sings this one has a scale length of ~480mm and is using 1/8 scale cello c g and d strings (mix of different brands). It has the bass string in the middle so C3 C2 G2 from top to bottom
@@Cj12sings if you were to make one similar I would move up to 1/4 scale cello strings and scale length. The lower 2 strings on this one can be very finicky to play on. I might make another some day to try to improve on it but just work around it's limits for now
@@HavocHarpa thank you so much for your reply , yep that is the insight I was looking for...I appreciate your time.... you have made a magnificent instrument and you play it fantastically well!!!! I am definitely making one !!!
