Bass test - JBL Xtreme3 vs Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 7 

Onyx have a one problem and this problem is size and batery😮

Well of course! The onyx studio 7 isn't designed to be a grab and go rugged waterproof speaker like the extreme 3. Yes both are 50 watts but the application is completely different. Think of it like car brands. Jeep for example makes rugged off road suvs or used to at least. Like jbl products. Chrysler on the other hand builds luxury cars that ride and handle smoothly. The same goes for harmon kardon. It's the luxury brand. Designed for smooth easy listening sessions sitting in the corner of the room on a coffee table or shelf. And it has a smaller battery because its an indoor unit.

Devialent the sickest speaker. 1 on 400wats Max power and one on 900wat the sound is sick. You Get blown away

@@collinsnicky1202 Xtreme 3 is around 15 hours at volume 40- 50% maybe) I like Xtreme 3 (i have her since 1 month, buy in april ) and Boombox 2 not bad too)) And Boombox 3 of course

The Harman kardon Onyx 7 will be a better recommendation when it comes to the quality of sound for both high & low freq. And through wireless dual sound... you can able to connect 2 of Onyx studio 7 wirelessly and have a real stereo experience for music and movie. By the way does ur projector comes with bluetooth?

That's why I own both Xtreme 3 and Onyx Studio 7, and also other speakers less known but equally as awesome, like the Soundcore Motion Boom / Motion+, Tribit Maxsound Plus and many others 👍 In the future I'd like to get a Boombox 2 and a Mifa Wildbox, two awesome speakers I don't have yet

Even if xtreme is from 53.5hz it is sounding good at 50 hz too, it tends to have a slight boost around 55hz

Actually the sound quality goes mostly to the jbl. Is has wider soundstage. The harman is mostly for heavy bass at low volumes with jbl is also very good at

​@@shoerice5083 Actually no, soundstage doesnt mean better audio quality, it only means theres a feeling that you can point where are the instruments located and this usually doesnt add anything when you use this speakers outside as soundstage works only when standing in one point and not moving around. Also if you check the audio forums and the audio measurements the claims are that the Harman sounds better, also my own experience having tried both and owned the Jbl. Jbl and Harman are both Samsung companies, one is for high end sound and lifestyle (Harman) and the other is the cheaper for everyone with good sound (JBL). I wont waste more time with you as I can see you are a fanboy commenting crap on many videos or maybe you work for them and you dont know they have the same owners? Well you can keep wasting your time here doing fake claims but audio measurements dont lie, bye!

@@average_joe3325 I wouldn't say Harman is high end. At least not in this product. It plays well, but it's definitely not a high end. The price also corresponds to that. The argument about the more expensive harman in this also fails because the xtreme is more expensive. In my view, both products are at the same price and quality level. They differ only in a slightly different tuning of sound, design and way of use.

@@janbitto1667 Yes, I agree in some point of view. But I think that the Onyx Studio has a more FLAT and natural sound, it's not a high end sound, but it sounds like, if we compare with JBL. That's the truth.

It really depends on the user's taste. But the bass sound really can impact the listening. So if u like softer and extended basa sound..its the Onyx7 or harder & stronger bass punch goes to xtreme3

@@nabilhilman3393 Overall the JBL Xtreme 3 is the better speaker in my opinion, but if you like deep heavy bass then get the Onyx 7. I own both a JBL Charge 5 and Onyx Studio 6.

I got both and nop...the HK sounds a lot better in every aspect....the JBL sounds excellent but whenever you put both side by side the HK sounds clear but punchy and immersive. The JBL lacks that 3d sound imo. The portability of the JBL is what make it bad ass...

@Adineo yep i went to TMobile to exchange my phone and i saw both of these speakers in the display. Tried both and the onyx was a lot better..but a big difference in sound.

@Adineo probably they sell it hahaha...the difference was very substantial not only me noticed. My wife, my two kids, the TMobile guy, everyone...the sound is extremely nice in comparison with the JBL..
