Thanks man I appreciate it ✌️ Miss seeing your videos though - you thinking about putting out some content again one of these days?? The world wants it 🔥
Surprised no one else mentioned this too but you can also do an outward kick with inward bass using the same tech that you'd use to do a spit snare simultaneously with an outward/inward bass. You sort of seal your throat off to your mouth with the back of your tongue and use the pressure in your lips/cheeks only to make the sound so you can do both at the same time.
When he started doing the inward bass at the beginning it sounded so crisp and strong and his b’s and k’s were clean as well he for sure has potential 😂
Should really watch Indicator: I'm an Alien And if you just want something sick, try watching heartzel Also try codfish's Ah this sound, it's some kind of awesome bass
You can make certain sounds without using air at all. So inertia just inhaled through his nose and does the kick with the muscles in his mouth not using his lungs for kick.
This is correct. He's inhaling through his nose to make the bass sound while using his mouth muscles for the kicks and snares. Basically all of the 'boots and cats' stuff can be done using only mouth pressure.
Bruh, legit. He just needs to take some time to learn the culture a bit more and take advantage of what we like to hear. Imagine him doing his 8-notes at once thing onstage. His vocal techniques would cause a REVOLUTION in the community.
Mathieu Braun lip rolls isn’t really inward it’s just the pressure inside the mouth you use to create it you don’t use your lungs for most lip rolls but I’m not saying you can cus you can use your lungs for lip rolls for like sub bass etc
• Dude with the big eyes: BBK He’s pretty dope, always happy • “Songs” are called “routines” I think • You can use lip rolls as kicks, sometimes That’s what I know, not too much but I hope it’s useful
Liprolls are generally used as a bass, although, there are multiple types, you can vary them to be more sub like or grimy, but yes, you're right, they can be used as an inward kick for routines that use liprolls and lip oscillations. Liprolls can also be done while taking a breathe in, or but simply using the pressure in your mouth to pull in without breathing in. "Hollow" liprolls are when you "hollow" your throat by making it wider, usually by lowering your Adam's apple. BBK is also a beatboxer, but is best known for his reactions. Yes, "songs" are routines, but British/Australian beatboxers sometimes refer to them as "tracks" By the way, "Esh" is a form of praise, per se
ItzLalo also what he’s using as his “kick” is called bmg snares named after the guy who created them they are the main kick sound he uses and it’s like a sharp lip fart sound with lots of pressure on your lips
@@jaydinbeatty9371 wait was it really bmg that made them? I thought he popularized them when they were "spit snares", I didn't know he made them. I heard people saying that he made them but I figure someone must've done them prior since they're pretty basic but idk tbh
Helium is such a beast and doesn't get nearly enough recognition IMO so great to see him featured in this video! A couple of other recommendations for tracks to check out: B-Art - Start Over Show-Go - Feel Like 👍👍
I appreciate that you are one of the few bass vocalist youtubers. Sadly not many of us natural bass voices have a guide to follow other than vocal coaches. Thx 😊
Trần Hữu Quốc Hướng nothing about this is inaccurate. Just the contrary. Every bit of it is unquestionably an accurate fact, and to some the highest end of the grading scale when referencing how good or bad someone’s attempt at a “k-snare” is.
I know you already checked him, but i'd recommend D-Low. He's absolutely nuts with his lows. In my opinion, the other video you reviewed was very poor quality for D-Low.
VicariousClouds I agree. That trap music video “D-low” has where he says the little catchphrase “it’s your demise, you wanted this” is his best bass video in my opinion.
Audical has the technique mastered. But Inertia... man... you gotta be born with that. Also... would totally love to see an interview with some of these guys
For those interested, что (chto) can be interpreted as "how" "what" and "that", most likely it was meant to be "how?" But I'll leave that for you to decide
You are flooding the hearts of beatboxers. Beatboxing has become one of the most developed underground art forms that no one knows about. To hear people like you react to our art, people who have knowledge of these techniques from outside of the beatbox relm, is almost a feeling of recognition that has been missing for a lot of years. Thanks for the videos. There is a whole community of beatboxers world wide that you have yet to tap into. Keep at it and they will find your channel, im sure of it.
"Cafeteria in the middle of Moscow" I love that :P But no, we filmed it in Switzerland during the Grand Beatbox battle 2018 hahaha . I love that you explain the vocals ! Keep it up
Fairly certain Helium starts out hitting a B0 with his inward bass before going up a half step for the groove in that clip, which is pretty insane if you think about it lol
Just say P, pf, t and ck (inward), and he'll have enough to do musicality. If he looks up tutorials on how to do patterns like bkcktkck, or tPtP, then he'll be a beatboxer. Some people learn quicker depending on your mouth, but in the end you will always obtain if you care.
8:30 That’s not Show Go’s technique. What Helium doing was just switching between normal voice and his mouth trumpet. Helium also made a tutorial himself on his mouth trumpet: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rEPX6bm3PDM.html
so I'm no pro or anything but I'm like 4 years into beatboxing and somewhere around 3:40 you let out some inward bass that was the most impressive bass line I've heard and it was so casual. Love the videos and learning with you as you react and learn about beatboxing.
Hey man I came across your because of your first beatboxing reaction and in so glad I did because you're awesome but I really hope from the bottom of my heart that you don't become a 'reaction channel' There's so many people on RU-vid nowadays that just react to beatboxers, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a hundred. I really like you and I feel like you have great potential videos. There's so many people here suggesting to react to things which I get because it's fun to sometimes see people react and be shocked to see what people can do and if you choose to go down the path of a reaction channel I'll probably still come back to watch just because I really like your videos but I like your other video ideas much more. The interviews with beatboxers, getting lessons from them, etc ,etc possibly even videos of your own beatboxing progress if you'd like to learn? That's how I feel, keep up the entertaining videos!
React to Two h "so what i dont give a" (the 4 years old vid one) you didnt hear his inward bass yet, two h's bass is also called demonic bass in the beatbox community
what would be cool to see: Create a vocal bass bible/wiki/tutorial series As someone who is just jumping in it would be nice to be able to see the scope of what is possible/what were working on
Your inward bass is actually what many consider an inward vocal fry. Be careful because it's a totally different area of tension and it's easy to get stuck in muscle memory when trying to do actual inward bass :) just a tip! You're so right about beatbox nomenclature though... no one agrees on anything haha but for the most part there are many different kinds of inward basses, dependant on both physiology and tension zone. I have wanted to do videos similar to yours for a very long time and it's great to see someone claim the niche finally. p.s the sound he is doing while doing inward bass is called a 'BMG snare' or you can even do a B snare in or out without using air from your lungs, takes practice.
The BMG snare is what inertia uses to keep his breath while doing inward bass. While doing the bmg snare, you can breathe in or out, allowing you to control your breathing in between using inward bass or lots of other things
First of all - everything you just mentioned for a video idea i am sure we are all up for it. Second idk if you know but he made a tutorial on his inward bass( Helium) and it's in a way where you dont breath but just make your vocal cords vibrate so that way you can prolong the sound and the way it sounds is different as well too in this way. Thats why it sounds so deep and cripsy.Continue doing what you are doing :).
those people in the background are mostly god-like beatboxers. I love how thwey are hyping everything up like they have never heard anything like that. Love that community man
You should definitely check out Improver's latest video on the Swissbeatbox channel, he doesnt use any crazy bass, but his routine is the closest any beatboxer could get to an actual EDM song
-inward k snare (lots of variations ) -peh snare -double k snare - -inward to -inward hi hat -inward "cough" snare (more pitched) -zipper -teeth zipper -sega sound -slizzer roll -click roll and you can do some sounds that don't need to use air like the normal lip roll, the b t k can be done without breathing too there's also the the inward BMG but it's without breathing (also called the kiss control)
When you were talking about the "inward kick" the way you do it is that you keep the sound going through your nasal cavity and not your mouth. Than you pressurize what's in your mouth and create the kick sound while still producing the sound
An explanation for the kick on the top of the inward bass, The kick is done breathlessly, meaning that it takes nothing more than the power of your lips to create. Therefore your lungs are free to do whatever, including inward bass. Almost any breathless sound can be done (for the most part, some exceptions) on top of a vocal bass if done correctly. The main trick is just practicing your sounds to where you can do them breathlessly. A lot can be, some can't. Hope this explanation helps you with your confusion and inspires you to try it being that you can do a kick and inward bass.
An inward kick can be done by basically making the same mouth position as a lip roll and by using the pressure within your mouth (so no lungs) can create a punchy sort of pop in the side of your mouth. The fact that it doesn't use air from the lungs is what means it can be done without interrupting the vocals (same can be said for the "spit snare" that inertia is using).
My best guess with inertia is he’s using the kicks to exhale between his bass line which is impressive in its own right to know exactly where to do that
the "inward snare" you're talking about is the "spit" snare or probably better known as the "bmg" snare. it doesn't take any air really so you can do inwards and this snare at the same time.
This guy is also very good at bass, he doesn't do it very often in this video because it's more liprolls but it's still sick. Villain | Beatbox To World Wildcard 2019 (Ascension), in Villain's GBB 2020 worldcard there's some more (inward?) bass.
I think it would be pretty dope to see you team up with some cool dude from the beatboxing comunnity and really take apart how certain moves work. You could try some beatboxing aswell, it's honestly alot of fun learning all these crazy techniques.
